    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) device is configured for performing a signal measurement for wireless communication in a new radio (NR) network. The UE is configured to determine a frequency range (FR) of a serving cell configured to send a signal that is measured by the UE using a signal measurement. The UE configures a measurement gap (MG) pattern to perform the signal measurement. Configuring the measurement gap includes determining that the frequency range of the serving cell includes frequencies of a second frequency range (FR2), determining that a measurement object (MO) configuration for the FR2 is available, setting a measurement gap repetition periodicity (MGRP) value for the signal measurement, and setting a measurement gap length (MGL) value for the signal measurement. The UE performs a signal measurement using the MGRP value and the MGL value.

    Abstract: User equipment (UE) includes processing circuitry coupled to memory. To configure the UE for active bandwidth part (BWP) switching, the processing circuitry is to decode RRC signaling configuring a plurality of BWPs for the UE. The RRC signaling further includes an indicator for an initial BWP of the plurality of BWPs for initial use by the UE as an active BWP. DCI received on a PDCCH is decoded, which includes a BWP indicator for switching the active BWP from the initial BWP to another BWP of the plurality of BWPs. RF and baseband parameters to switch the active BWP from the initial BWP to the another BWP are reconfigured. Reconfiguring the RF and baseband parameters cause an interruption of one or more slots of a serving cell of the UE. A starting time of the interruption is within a time duration of a BWP switching delay supported by the UE.

    Abstract: Techniques for changing a Transmission Configuration Indication (TCI) state by a user equipment (UE) operating in a wireless communications system are provided. The UE receives a first message including a TCI state change command from a network and determines, based on the first message, whether a time offset/frequency offset (TO/FO) and a reception (Rx) beam for a new TCI state are known by the UE. Based on the determination, the UE calculates a time delay of the UE to be prepared to receive a reference signal with the new TCI state, generates a second message indicating the time delay of the UE for the new TCI state, and transmits the second message to the network.

    Abstract: Techniques described herein may include a special scheduling cell (sSCell) provided for dynamic spectrum sharing (DSS). The sSCell may schedule a primary cell of a master cell group (MCG) or a primary cell of a secondary cell group (SCG). The primary cell may be referred to as a special cell or SpCell. The sSCell may be activated and/or deactivated, enter in or exit from a state of dormancy, and radio link monitoring (RLM), beam failure recovery (BFR), and cell grouping parameters may be provided. Techniques described herein include configuring a UE-specific search space (USS) with non-fallback downlink control information (DCI), USS with fallback DCI, and overall search space for DSS enhancement.
