Abstract:
The method for manipulating a cursor is performed at a portable multifunction device with one or more processors, memory, and a touch screen display. Initially, content of an electronic document is displayed on the display, where a cursor is displayed within the electronic document. Two substantially simultaneous touch inputs are then detected on the touch screen display, and preferably anywhere on the touch screen display. In response to detecting the two substantially simultaneous touch inputs, a portion of the content in the document closest to the cursor is selected, and the portion of the content is displayed as selected content.

Abstract:
An electronic device displays a settings user interface that includes one or more control objects. The settings user interface is configured to adjust operations of the device that use one or more sensors that detect intensity of contacts with a touch-sensitive surface, and/or one or more tactile output generators. The device detects an input for a first control object of the one or more control objects; and, in accordance with the detected input for the first control object, changes the second intensity threshold and the second tactile output. The device provides a first tactile output in response to detecting that an intensity of a contact on a touch-sensitive surface increases above a first intensity threshold, and provides a second tactile output in response to detecting that an intensity of a contact on the touch-sensitive surface increases above a second intensity threshold, distinct from the first intensity threshold.
Abstract:
Methods and systems are provided for collecting, storing, and transmitting account information in a matchable form, and for using this information to quickly set up accounts. Account information is maintained and shared between one or more client devices and an intermediate server. Account information can be reconciled locally to determine whether to add or enable an active account or an account proxy to a client device. Account proxies can be quickly enabled by a single user action. The methods and systems allow enabled accounts and account proxies to be removed from a first client device without propagating the deletion to a second client device.

Abstract:
A computing system that supports the use of multiple displays in display mirroring mode and extended display mode may automatically determine a display mode in which to configure the system (with little or no user input) based on various characteristics of the displays in the system. For example, the system may determine that a television, projector, or other presentation type display is connected in the system, and in response, may determine that the system should be configured in a display mirroring mode, rather than in an extended display mode. The system may also determine that the presentation type display is the preferred display, and may render image content in a best (or preferred) mode for that display using its native resolution, aspect ratio or color profile. The system may then scale the rendered image content for display on other (non-preferred) displays, such as an internal display, without re-rendering it.

Abstract:
An electronic device detects that alert criteria have been met for a charging case, wherein the charging case is a charging case for a peripheral that is paired with the electronic device; and the alert criteria are based on the charging case having a battery charge level that is below a first threshold. In response to detecting that the alert criteria have been met, the electronic device displays a first alert that indicates that the battery charge level of the charging case for the peripheral is below the first threshold.
Abstract:
An electronic device, while in wireless communication with a wireless accessory, and while displaying a system user interface, detects that the wireless accessory is charging, and in response to detecting that the wireless accessory is charging, displays a charging alert that indicates that the wireless accessory is charging.
