Abstract: A communication method, a base station, a radio communication node, and a user equipment are provided. A base station determines first resource configuration information, where the first resource configuration information is used for indicating N radio resource sets that are used when N radio communication nodes separately perform communication with a user equipment UE, and the radio resource includes a time domain resource and/or a frequency domain resource. The base station sends the first resource configuration information to the UE, where the UE communicates with a corresponding transmission point by using respective radio resource sets of transmission points, and the respective radio resource sets of the transmission points do not intersect. Therefore, a base station does not need to schedule a radio resource, thereby lowering a delay requirement on a backhaul link and eliminating interference.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a carrier switching method, a base station, and user equipment, where the method includes: determining, according to carrier switching capability information of user equipment UE, a carrier switching policy according to which the UE performs carrier switching; and sending carrier switching indication information to the UE, where the carrier switching indication information is used for indicating the carrier switching policy, so that the UE performs carrier switching according to the carrier switching policy. In the carrier switching method, the base station and the user equipment according to embodiments of the present invention, the UE having no carrier aggregation capability is enabled to dynamically perform switching between at least two carriers, so that quality of service of a service of the UE can be improved, user experience can be improved, and system performance can be improved.

Abstract: In a bandwidth allocation method, user equipment (UE) receives virtual bandwidth configuration information and performs signal reception and/or signal processing according to a virtual bandwidth indicated by the virtual bandwidth configuration information, where the virtual bandwidth configuration information is used for indicating a configuration of the virtual bandwidth. The virtual bandwidth is a part or all of a downlink maximum available bandwidth or a downlink transmission bandwidth, and the downlink maximum available bandwidth is a maximum bandwidth available for downlink transmission. In this way, reduction of overheads and reduction of complexity of signal reception and signal processing are implemented, and overheads and complexity of signal reception and processing feedback can be flexibly controlled.

The method also includes obtaining, according to the determined reference signal configuration, positions of the resource elements (REs) that are used to send the reference signal on the antenna ports in the antenna port set, and receiving reference signals according to the positions of the REs.

Abstract: The present invention provides a signal sending apparatus, a signal detection apparatus, a signal sending and detection system, a signal sending method, and a signal detection method. The apparatus determines a time unit that is in each time window and that is used to transmit a synchronization signal, and transmits the synchronization signal in the determined time unit in each time window. Therefore, a synchronization signal is always located in a time unit that has a fixed location in each time window, so that a device at a receive end needs to perform detection only in a fixed time unit in each time window, thereby reducing complexity of designing and detecting the synchronization signal.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a cell configuration method, a method for implementing synchronization between a user equipment and a base station, a user equipment, and a base station. According to the solutions provided in the embodiments of the present invention, system information of a cell may be dynamically or semi-statically adjusted according to user equipment distribution and service distribution, so that network resources can be better provided for a user equipment that needs them, a capability of serving the user equipment is improved.
