Abstract:
A method and system for providing navigational support through corrective data includes monitoring a user's current position and travel pattern. A likelihood that the user is lost may be calculated based on the user's travel pattern and current position. If the likelihood exceeds a threshold value, the user may be provided with corrective data such as photographs or landmark information through visual or audio communication to assist the user in taking a corrective action or preventing getting lost.
Abstract:
Digital television channels are preemptively cached based on a modeling of a user to reduce delays while switching channels. A current television channel is selected using a first tuner. A future television channel selection of the user is then predicted based on a modeling of the user. The recorded content of the predicted future television channel is preemptively cached using a second tuner. A buffer of the recorded content of the predicted future television channel is displayed when the user switches from the current television channel to the predicted future television channel. The modeling of the user is updated and stored in storage.
Abstract:
Automatic driver modeling is used to integrate human-controlled vehicles into an autonomous vehicle network. A driver of a human-controlled vehicle is identified based on behavior patterns of the driver measured by one or more sensors of an autonomous vehicle. A model of the driver is generated based on the behavior patterns of the driver measured by the one or more sensors of the autonomous vehicle. Previously stored behavior patterns of the driver are then retrieved from a database to augment the model of the driver. The model of the driver is then transmitted from the autonomous vehicle to nearby vehicles with autonomous interfaces.
Abstract:
An application selection system for completing a work process includes an environment activity module that detects at least one event to determine an environmental activity occurring in an environment exposed to a user of the application selection system. A user activity module detects at least one user activity to determine at least one active state of the user. The application selection system further includes an application determining unit in electrical communication with the environment activity module and the user activity module. The application determining unit is configured to determine a passive state of the user, at least one work task included in the work process and a suitable application among a plurality of applications to execute the at least one work task.
Abstract:
A content recording system comprises a digital media recording device to record content. A rights-management module is in electrical communication with the digital media recording device to detect a desired recording performed by the digital media recording device. The rights-management module further communicates digital rights information of a rights-managed content to the digital recording device. The recording of the rights-managed content is performed according to the digital rights information.
Abstract:
A method for managing virtual meetings includes initiating participation with a first user interface in a first meeting, initiating participation with the first user interface in a second meeting, determining whether attention of a user is directed towards the first meeting or the second meeting, and configuring the user interface such that the user interacts with meeting resources associated with the first meeting responsive to determining that the attention of the user is directed towards the first meeting.
Abstract:
According to one embodiment, a method, computer system, and computer program product for human recognition through use of text entry is provided. The embodiment may include tracking user inputs. The embodiment may also include tracking time intervals between user inputs. The embodiment may further include storing input-interval sets, each input-interval set containing at least one input from the user inputs and at least one time interval from the time intervals between user inputs, wherein the at least one input corresponds to the at least one time interval. The embodiment may also include pretraining a foundation model based on the stored input-interval sets. The embodiment may further include training the foundation model for a particular task.
Abstract:
A system and method that allows use of a product to review its users and generates a report summarizing how closely the product has been used according to its intended use. The product includes on-board and associated I-o-T sensors to differentiate between different users of the same product and provide data correlating usage how the product is used by each user. The system and method provide recommendations regarding how a typical behavior of each user can change during its use to optimize a product's its function, lifespan, efficiency. The report additionally serves to evaluate how effective each user is at rating the product by creating a feedback evaluation report and reliability score for each user, giving weight to basically all product reviews that the user may have submitted on other products. All customer reviews submitted online by a given user can be linked, for example by username, IP address, etc.

Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention describe predictively reconstructing a physical event using augmented reality. Embodiments describe, identifying relative states of objects located in a physical event area by using video analysis to analyze collected video feeds from the physical event area before and after a physical event involving at least one of the objects, creating a knowledge corpus including the video analysis and the collected video feeds associated with the physical event and historical information, and capturing data, by a computing device, of the physical event area. Additionally, embodiments describe identifying possible precursor events based on the captured data and the knowledge corpus, and generating a virtual reconstruction of the physical event using the possible precursor events, displaying, by the computing device, the generated virtual reconstruction of the predicted physical event, wherein the displayed virtual reconstruction of the predicted physical event overlays an image of the physical event area.
