    摘要: Disclosed is a wavelength-division-multiplexed passive optical network using a wavelength-locked optical transmitter. The wavelength-division-multiplexed passive optical network (WDM PON) includes a central office, which includes a plurality of downstream optical transmitters for outputting downstream optical signals having wavelengths according to downstream injection lights, a wavelength division multiplexer including a plurality of de-multiplexing ports linked to the plurality of the downstream optical transmitters by one-to-one, and a multiplexing port linked with the feeder fiber and performing wavelength division multiplexing and wavelength division de-multiplexing, and at least one optical switch interposed between the downstream optical transmitters and the de-multiplexing ports, inputting a downstream band light output from a selected downstream optical transmitter to the multiplexing port, and inputting a downstream optical signal output from a remaining downstream optical transmitter, which is not selected, to the de-multiplexing port.

The method includes transporting a SetAVTransportURI from a DMP to a DMS, and informing the DMS of a URI of a content; upon receipt of the SetAVTransportURI, performing the steps of transporting a “CONNECT” command to the DMP using a protocol, and preparing contents transport between the DMP and the DMS; upon preparation of the contents transport, performing the steps of transporting a command depending on each environment between the DMP and the DMS, controlling contents transport in the IEEE 1394 interface, and linking the contents transport between the DMP and the DMS; and upon ending of the contents control and transport, performing the steps of transporting a “DISCONNECT” command between the DMP and the DMS using the protocol, performing a cleanup between the DMP and the DMS, and ending the contents transport.

    摘要: Disclosed is a method for maintaining wavelength-locking of a Fabry-Perot laser regardless of a change of external temperature even though a temperature controller is not used, and a wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) light source using the method, as an economical light source used in a WDM optical communication field. The WDM light source comprises a Fabry-Perot laser for injecting spectrum-spliced incoherent light to amplify and output only an oscillation mode matching with a wavelength of the injected light, and a bias controlling unit for adjusting a bias current supplied to the Fabry-Perot laser to a value adjacent to a threshold current of the Fabry-Perot laser, whose threshold current is changed according to a temperature and a relationship between the injected light changed depending to a temperature and a wavelength of the oscillation mode. Therefore, the bias current having a value adjacent to the threshold current of the Fabry-Perot laser is supplied to the Fabry-Perot laser, so that the Fabry-Perot laser can maintain an excellent transmission characteristic regardless of a change of temperature even though a temperature controller is not used.
