Abstract:
An example of the present disclosure provides a method of selecting access. The method of selecting access may include the steps of: selecting a first access point name (APN) that does not support IP flow mobility and seamless offload (IFOM) according to a first setting related to APN-based routing; checking a preferred flag when wireless local area network (WLAN) access for the IFOM is selected according to a second setting related to routing resulting in a collision between the first setting and the second setting; and using any one of the first setting and the second setting according to the preferred flag.
Abstract:
A wireless communication system is disclosed. More particularly, access network selection scheme in visited network in a wireless communication system are disclosed. A method for selecting a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) access network by a user equipment (UE) in a visited network may comprise: determining, by the UE, if a selected WLAN access network in the visited network is available; updating, by the UE, a WLAN selection policy with a list of excluded WLAN access network, if the selected WLAN access network in the visited network is not available; and re-determining, by the UE, if there is an available WLAN access network in the visited network based on the updated WLAN selection policy.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. More particularly, disclosed are a network-initiated control method and an apparatus for providing a proximity service (ProSe). A method for supporting ProSe between a plurality of terminals at a network node of a wireless communication system according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a step of acquiring base ProSe information from one or more of the plurality of terminals or from one or more of other network nodes; a step of allowing the network node to detect whether ProSe is enabled between the plurality of terminals based on the acquired base ProSe information; and a step of transmitting information indicating whether ProSe is allowed or not to one or more of the plurality of terminals.
Abstract:
One embodiment of the present specification provides a method by which a user equipment (UE) reselects a network node in charge of a control plane. The method can comprise the steps of: retransmitting, by the UE, a non-access stratum (NAS) request message if the UE transmitted the NAS request message to a network node in charge of the control plane through a base station but has not received a response message; transmitting, by the UE, an access stratum (AS) message, which includes an indication showing no response from the network node, to the base station if the retransmission of the NAS request message has repeated by a preset value or more; and reselecting another network node in charge of the control plane instead of the network node in a disabled state if information indicating that the network node is in the disabled state is received from the base station.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system, and more specifically, a method and a device for selecting an access network are disclosed. A method by which a terminal selects an access network in a wireless communication system, according to one embodiment of the present invention, can comprise the steps of: determining whether a packet service can be performed through a wireless LAN (WLAN) in use when the packet service is set to select a WLAN access network as an access network of the terminal for the packet service according to a predetermined rule while the terminal is using the WLAN; and performing an access network selection operation including a WLAN selection or a WLAN reselection as a candidate on the basis of the result of the determination step.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and a device for controlling a relay of relay user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system. Specifically, the method comprises the steps of: announcing information on whether the relay UE can be relayed; and controlling the relay by comparing updated information with reference information according to a new relay request, wherein the reference information is set to be changed on the basis of state information of the relay UE and/or a packet data network (PDN) connection related to the relay.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method for selecting an access network in a wireless communications system and an apparatus therefor. In a wireless communications system, a method for a terminal to select an access network according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of: receiving the policy information of a first network; receiving the policy information of a second network; determining the load value of a WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) access network; and comparing the load value with a predetermined reference value so as to determine whether the WLAN access network is overloaded. The predetermined value can be determined by comparing first reference information for determination of the WLAN access network overload contained in the policy information of the first network with second reference information for determination of the WLAN access network overload contained in the policy information of the second network.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for changing a radio access technology (RAT) of a terminal in a wireless communication system. More specifically, the method according to the present invention comprises the steps of: transmitting user traffic session related information when a terminal perceives that a packet switched service will be discontinued while carrying out proximity service (ProSe); and changing, by a first terminal, to a target RAT, in which PS service is not supported.
Abstract:
One embodiment of the present specification provides a method for determining access on the basis of a policy. The method for determining access can comprise the steps for: receiving a plurality of policies including wireless LAN (WLAN) selection rules from a plurality of access network discovery and selection functions (ANDSFs) in a plurality of public land mobile networks (PLMNs); selecting any one of the plurality of policies on the basis of preset location-related criteria; and determining whether traffic of a user is delivered to a 3GPP access or detoured to a WLAN access, according to WLAN selection rules of the selected policy.
Abstract:
There is provided a method for performing communication. The method performed by a source BS comprises: receiving UE's first preference information related to one or more neighboring BSs from the UE; receiving neighboring BS's second preference information related to one or more UEs including the UE from a neighboring BS; and performing handover decision for the UE; and transmitting handover request message to a target BS, wherein the target BS is determined based on both of the UE's first preference information and the neighboring BS's second preference information.
