    Abstract: There is provided user equipment of a radio communication system that supports D2D communication, the user equipment including a receiver configured to receive a predetermined synchronization signal; a synchronization processor configured to perform a process for synchronizing with the predetermined synchronization signal; and a transmitter configured to transmit a synchronization signal in a subframe that is the same as that of a synchronization signal transmitted from any other user equipment when the synchronization signal transmitted from the other user equipment is received by the receiver and received power of the synchronization signal transmitted from the other user equipment is less than a predetermined threshold value, wherein the transmitter interrupts transmission of the synchronization signal for a predetermined time interval, and the receiver measures the received power of the synchronization signal transmitted from the other user equipment in the predetermined time interval.

    Abstract: To control UL transmission properly even when uplink data and demodulation reference signals are transmitted using short TTIs, a user terminal according to one aspect of the present invention has a transmission section that transmits a UL signal and a reference signal for use for demodulating the UL signal, and a control section that controls the allocation of the UL signal and the reference signal, and, when UL signals are allocated to a plurality of contiguous predetermined time intervals (sTTIs), respectively, the control section allocates the UL signal and the reference signal for use for demodulating the UL signal to the same sTTI, at least in an sTTI apart from the top sTTI.

    Abstract: The present application provides an uplink data transmission method and a user terminal (UE) for executing the method. The method in the present application comprises: A, generating a first random number; B, determining, according to the generated first random number, whether to initiate a random access process; if the random access process is initiated, obtaining a timing advance (TA) value from a base station by means of the random access process; and if the random access process is not initiated, listening for a TA message broadcast by another UE and obtaining a TA value from the TA message; C, transmitting uplink data according to the obtained TA value; D, if the uplink data is successfully transmitted, continuing to perform E, and if the uplink data is unsuccessfully transmitted, returning to A; and E, generating a TA message according to the obtained TA value, and broadcasting the generated TA message. By means of the method in the present application, the time delay and the power consumption can be reduced.

The W1 indicates a plurality of sets of the second beams in each of a first layer and a second layer. The plurality of sets adjacent to each other are orthogonal. The W2 indicates a combination of same beams between the first layer and the second layer.

    Abstract: The present invention is designed to prevent communication performance from dropping in long TTI when preemption of long TTI by short TTI occurs. According to one aspect of the present invention, a user terminal has a receiving section that receives downlink (DL) data based on downlink control information (DCI) in a first transmission time interval (TTI), a transmission section that transmits delivery acknowledgement information in response to the DL data, and a control section that controls timing of transmitting the delivery acknowledgement information when indication information regarding preemption of the first TTI by a second TTI shorter than the first TTI is received in the receiving section.
