Abstract: Monostatic radar with progressive length transmission may be used with half-duplex systems or with full-duplex systems to reduce self-interference. The system transmits a first signal for a first duration and receives a first reflection of the first signal from a first object during a second duration. The system transmits a second signal for a third duration longer than the first duration and receives a second reflection of the second signal from a second object during a fourth duration. The system calculates a position of the first object and the second object based on the first reflection and the second reflection. The first signal, first duration, and second duration are configured to detect reflections from objects within a first distance of the system. The second signal, third duration, and fourth duration are configured to detect reflections from objects between the first distance and a second distance from the system.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a base station, a report associated with a maximum permissible exposure event that has occurred for one or more component carriers. The report may indicate one or more candidate beams for each of the one or more component carriers. The UE may receive, from the base station, at least one downlink control information message scheduling an uplink communication on the one or more component carriers. The UE may transmit, to the base station, the uplink communication on the one or more component carriers using at least one transmit beam that corresponds to a candidate beam of the one or more candidate beams for a component carrier of the one or more component carriers. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described to enable one or both of a base station or a user equipment (UE) to identify one or more physical cell identifiers (PCIs) for a scheduled communication, using an association between the one or more PCIs and a control resource set (CORESET), for example, used to transmit a grant scheduling the communication. The base station may identify a mapping between one or more PCIs associated with a communication and may transmit, to the UE, a grant scheduling the communication on a CORESET associated with the one or more PCIs. The UE may identify a mapping between the CORESET and the one or more PCIs associated with the communication based on receiving the grant in the CORESET. The UE and the base station may communicate a message scheduled by the grant using parameters associated with the one or more identified PCIs.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for MU-MIMO communication based on SDM for a PUSCH. A UE may receive an indication of a plurality of DMRS ports for a PUSCH transmission and a number of DMRS CDM groups without data. The number of DMRS CDM groups without data is: greater than or equal to 3 when the plurality of DMRS ports is {0, 2}, greater than or equal to 2 when the plurality of DMRS ports is {1, 3}, or greater than or equal to 2 when the plurality of DMRS ports is {0, 2} and a number of front-loaded symbols corresponding to the plurality of DMRS ports is 2. The UE may transmit the PUSCH transmission based on the received indication of the plurality of DMRS ports and the number of DMRS CDM groups without data.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for bind decoding enhancements. A method performed by a user equipment (UE) includes obtaining control configuration information for receiving downlink control information (DCI) for at least a first link direction and a second link direction, obtaining an indication that only traffic of the first link direction is expected to be communicated in a first period of time, performing, based on the control configuration information, a first number of blind decodes during the first period of time to receive the DCI for the first link direction, and during the first time period, refraining from performing a second number of blind decodes associated with receiving the DCI for the second link direction based on the indication that only the traffic of the first link direction is expected to be communicated in the first period of time.
