Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may map channel state information (CSI) to first resource elements that are distributed in frequency, wherein the first resource elements are in a set of resources allocated on an uplink shared channel; map hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback to second resource elements that are distributed in frequency, wherein the second resource elements are in the set of resources; wherein the second resource elements are reserved for the HARQ feedback and are different from the first resource elements; and transmit the CSI and the HARQ feedback on the uplink shared channel in accordance with the mappings. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The method, system, or devices for wireless communications may implement receiving a grant for a first transmission scheduled for a first set of resources, the first transmission associated with a first transmission parameter; receiving an indication to cancel the first transmission; dropping the first transmission based on receiving the indication; determining a second transmission parameter for a second transmission based on the first transmission parameter and irrespective of dropping the first transmission; and performing or receiving the second transmission according to the second transmission parameter. Alternatively, a device may receive an indication to cancel the second transmission; drop the second transmission based on receiving the indication; and refraining from rescheduling the first transmission on the first set of resources based on receiving the indication and irrespective of dropping the second transmission.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for communication which may include a user equipment (UE) and a base station. In one aspect, the UE may receive a trigger to measure an uplink Aperiodic Channel State Information Reference Signal (A-CSI-RS). The UE may also receive an allocation of a first resource for an uplink shared channel. Additionally, the UE can receive at least one indication for an A-CSI report to comprise a null A-CSI report. Moreover, the UE can determine whether to alter another uplink transmission. In some aspects, this determination can be based, at least in part, on whether the first resource allocated for the uplink channel overlaps in time with a second resource for the other uplink transmission.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive system information from a base station indicating at least one configuration rule for power control parameter setting for random access. The UE may measure one or more reference signals and may estimate a path loss of wireless communications between the base station and the UE based on the measured reference signals. The UE may select one or more parameters from one or more sets of parameters indicated in the configuration rule. The UE may select a first transmit power for a preamble of a random access message and a second transmit power for a payload of the random access message, based on the estimated path loss and the configuration rule for power control parameters and power ramping procedures. The UE may transmit the random access message according to the selected first and second transmit powers.

Abstract: Generally, the described techniques provide for efficiently transmitting uplink signals to a base station using shared antennas associated with different power classes. A first device may be in communications with a base station using local antennas and may identify a second device having auxiliary antennas available for transmitting uplink signals to the base station. The local and auxiliary antennas may be associated with different power classes, and the first device may transmit a message to a base station indicating that the first device is capable of transmitting using antennas associated with different power classes. The first device may then receive configurations from a base station of different transmit powers to transmit on the antennas associated with the different power classes, and the first device may transmit uplink signals to the base station in accordance with the different transmit power configurations.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A transmitting device may identify a set of allocated resource blocks and a number of the allocated resource blocks. The transmitting device may determine a bit sequence length corresponding to the number of allocated resource blocks. The transmitting device may generate a reference signal based on a bit sequence having the bit sequence length and transmit the reference signal within the allocated resource blocks. The transmitting device may modulate the bit sequence using a π/2 binary phase shift keying modulation scheme. The transmitting device may modulate a data bit sequence using the same modulation scheme to generate a modulated data bit sequence, where a peak to average power ratio (PAPR) of tones transporting the modulated data bit sequence satisfies a PAPR threshold and a PAPR of tones transporting the reference signal also satisfies the PAPR threshold.

The UE may transmit hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) information in a second slot, wherein the second slot includes a plurality of physical uplink control channels (PUCCHs) with a second sub-slot periodicity, and wherein the HARQ-ACK information is associated with the plurality of transmissions. The first device may initiate a data transfer with the second device based on transmitting the second reference signal and the channel status feedback message.
