摘要： An optical demultiplex circuit includes an optical circulator, a chirped fiber grating, and a fiber Bragg grating. The optical circulator has a first port for receiving an optical signal, a second port for outputting the optical signal input to the first port, and a third port for outputting the optical signal input to the second port. The chirped fiber grating selectively reflects optical signals output from the second port and outputs them to the second port. The chirped fiber grating has a wide reflection wavelength band and side lobes. The fiber Bragg grating is inserted between the second port and the chirped fiber grating and reflects, of the optical signals output from the second port, only optical signals in a narrow wavelength band corresponding to the side lobes of the chirped fiber grating.

摘要： A sheet feeder providing accurate separation of an uppermost sheet from remaining sheets of a sheet stack stored in a hopper regardless of a size and rigidity of the sheets. The sheet feeder includes a sheet feed roller positioned in confrontation with the hopper for feeding the sheet in a sheet feeding direction. A wall of a frame confronts an outlet end portion of the hopper. The wall is provided with a slanted surface sloping toward the sheet feeding direction, and a stop member protrudable from or retractable into the slanted surface. A recessed portion is open to the slanted surface, and the stop member can be assembled to the recessed portion from an upper open side of the recessed portion. A pair of opposing side walls providing therebetween an upper open space are provided. A rotation shaft of the sheet feed roller can be assembled to the pair of side walls from the upper open space.

摘要： In an ink jet type print recording apparatus, when a purge gear is driven and a purge pump arrives at its origin position, an origin mark of a pump cam gear presses a cam receiver of a first actuator so that a movement transmitting portion of the first actuator presses a movement receiving portion of a second actuator. With this operation, a shutter of the second actuator is moved out of a common sensor and the common sensor is switched on. Furthermore, when a print sheet is supplied to a platen roller, a sheet detector of the second actuator is pressed by the print sheet, whereby the shutter is moved out of the common sensor and the common sensor is switched on. Various operations are performed on the basis of signals from the common sensor.

摘要： To prevent concurrent mounting of two tractor units on an upstream side and a downstream side of a platen of a printer, a rocker member is pivotally mounted by a pivot pin on a side plate of a chassis to which the tractor unit is attachable. The rocker member has an upper end portion disposed close to an upper lock pin of a downstream side mounting portion. The lower end portion of the rocker member is disposed close to a lower lock pin of an upstream side mounting portion. When the tractor unit is locked with the lower lock pin, the lower end portion of the rocker member is firmly locked in position against rotation, so that the upper end portion of the rocker member is no longer separable from the upper rock pin, and hence, is able to prevent another tractor unit from moving into that portion.
