    摘要: The present invention can be applied to a control device wherein the probability of giving the proper exposure to the primary object photographed is high even when the regions to be found in range within the photographing distance are plural, thereby to being capable of more positively judging the backlight condition, an automatic focus adjusting apparatus capable of more reflecting the photographing intention of the photographer, an exposure control apparatus capable of normally providing the proper exposure amount with respect to the photographed object independently of the distance to the object photographed even when the daylight synchronized flash photographing operation is performed, and a control device which does not need a switching circuit and the switching operation by it.

    摘要: An image processing apparatus can share a function of other apparatuses when it is connected to a network. The image processing apparatus comprises function blocks such as an image reader, an image processor and a printer, interface means connected to the network, and an image bus switcher for switching buses for connecting these elements. The image bus switcher is used to transmit data, whereby an application program of the other apparatus connected to the network can be used, for example. After the image data is processed by using the application program of the other apparatus, the processed data can be also transmitted and printed. When the other apparatus is used, a power is supplied to the necessary function blocks alone, thereby starting these blocks.

    摘要: A camera system comprises an operation member provided in an interchangeable lens adapted to be manually operated; signal sending circuit for sending a signal in response to the manual operation of the operation member; and a controller provided in a camera body which is adapted to switch between an operative state where a predetermined operation is executed and a halt state where the controller is halted after completion of the predetermined operation. The controller switches from the halt state to the operative state in response to the signal from the signal sending circuit to execute the predetermined operation. According to the camera system, since the system controller in the camera body is actuated in response to the operation of the operation member on the lens side, a camera which can substantially instantaneously respond to a request on the lens side can be realized.

    摘要: An auto focus camera includes a usual zoom lens and provides a pseudo focal length mode, in which the size of focus condition detecting area, to the photographing scene to be printed, is variable. A pseudo focal length is stored and a focus condition is detected in accordance with a ray of light passed through the zoom lens. When the camera is in such a mode as to continuously detect focus condition for keeping an object in focus, or to be operated when the contrast of the object whose focus condition is detected is low, the focal length of the zoom lens and the pseudo focal length are controlled respectively in accordance with the mode.

    摘要: A photographic camera of the type including a piezo-electric actuating element driven by energy accumulated in a capacitor for actuating a shutter wherein the piezo-electric element operates in stability to assure accurate appropriate opening and closing operation of the shutter of the camera and the capacitor is charged up rapidly to allow subsequent photographing operation to be done in a minute. In the camera, a charged voltage of the capacitor is checked several times to determine if it is sufficient to assure proper operation of the piezo-electric element, and if a then required level is not reached, then the capacitor is charged to the required voltage. While the capacitor is being charged, charging of a capacitor for a flash is inhibited. For operation of the shutter, a negative voltage is first applied across the piezo-electric element to set the same to its fixed home position, and then a positive voltage is applied to move the shutter from the home position to a predetermined opening position, whereafter the negative voltage is applied again to return the shutter to its initial position rapidly. The position of the shutter is also checked to assure proper operation of the camera.
