    摘要: An apparatus for driving an e-paper display is provided. The display includes a plurality of segments. The apparatus includes: a memory module for each segment; a SEG 4-to-1 multiplexor connected with the memory module for each segment; a 2-to-1 multiplexor connected with the SEG 4-to-1 multiplexor for each segment; a SEG waveform generator connected with the SEG 4-to-1 multiplexor; a COM waveform generator connected with the 2-to-1 multiplexor; a SEG waveform table connected with the SEG waveform generator; and a COM waveform table connected with the COM waveform generator. The memory module for each segment includes an old Data corresponding to a current state of the segment of the display, a new Data corresponding to a new state to be driven for the segment in a display update period, and a COM_Option memory corresponding to an option state. A method for driving an e-paper display is also provided.

    摘要: A display device includes a first gate driver that applies a gate-on voltage to gate lines of a first gate line group in each period of n first scan periods for a first frame, n being a natural number. A second gate driver applies a gate-on voltage to gate lines of a second gate line group in each period of n second scan periods for a first frame. A data driver applies a data voltage to a plurality of data lines. A signal controller transmits a control signal to the first and second gate drivers and the data driver, wherein an interval between start points of the n first scan periods is gradually decreased according to time, and an interval between start points of the n second scan periods is gradually increased according to time.

    摘要: A driving method for a panel structure including at least two liquid crystal layers is disclosed. The liquid crystal layers display different colors. When the panel structure includes a first liquid crystal layer and a second liquid crystal layer, the first and the second liquid crystal layers are initialized. A light source is utilized to emit the first and the second liquid crystal layers to write data to at least one of the first and the second liquid crystal layers. When the panel structure further includes a third liquid crystal layer, the first, the second and the third liquid crystal layers are first initialized. A light source is utilized to emit the first, the second and the third liquid crystal layers to write data to at least one of the first, the second and the third liquid crystal layers.
