The camera comprises a light measuring section for measuring a brightness of an object for the photographing, a calculating section for calculating an exposure control value in accordance with the brightness of the object for the photographing, a first setting section for manually setting first data with which the exposure control value is to be corrected, a first correcting section for correcting the exposure control value in accordance with the first data, a second setting section for setting second data in accordance with first data set in the past by the first setting section, a second correcting section for correcting the exposure control value in accordance with the second data, and an exposure controlling section for executing exposure control in accordance with the exposure control value corrected by the first correcting section or the second correcting section.

    摘要: In a lens barrel of a zoom lens, a luminous flux is divided or its path is switched so that the same luminous flux is directed to both a taking optical system and a finer optical system. Focusing and camera shake compensation are performed before division of the luminous flux or switching of its path so that images observed through a finder are already in focus and compensated for camera shakes. The lens barrel has multiple movable segments to allow the taking optical system and the finder optical system to be moved out simultaneously. To achieve zooming, a holding member for holding both a focusing lens unit and other lens units is moved so that all these lens units are moved simultaneously. Adjustment of the focusing lens unit, necessitated as a result of zooming, is achieved by moving a part of the focusing lens unit within the holding member.

    摘要: A photographic camera of the type including a piezo-electric actuating element driven by energy accumulated in a capacitor for actuating a shutter wherein the piezo-electric element operates in stability to assure accurate appropriate opening and closing operation of the shutter of the camera and the capacitor is charged up rapidly to allow subsequent photographing operation to be done in a minute. In the camera, a charged voltage of the capacitor is checked several times to determine if it is sufficient to assure proper operation of the piezoelectric element, and if a then required level is not reached, then the capacitor is charged to the required voltage. While the capacitor is being charged, charging of a capacitor for a flash is inhibited. For operation of the shutter, a negative voltage is first applied across the piezo-electric element to set the same to its fixed home position, and then a positive voltage is applied to move the shutter from the home position to a predetermined opening position, whereafter the negative voltage is applied again to return the shutter to its initial position rapidly. The position of the shutter is also checked to assure proper operation of the camera.

    摘要: A pseudo focal length camera which takes a photograph using an optical system of a single focal length. A printed photograph has a feature similar to that obtained by taking a photograph using an optical system comprising a plurality of photographing lenses each having a different focal length. Information indicating an image forming area corresponding to a designated pseudo focal length is recorded on a film when a photograph is taken and a printing is carried out based on the information. The view finder optical system includes a liquid crystal display for displaying the size of an image forming area which changes according to a magnification corresponding to each pseudo focal length. After the image forming area is determined by designating a pseudo focal length, the first switch is turned on by the depression of the release button in the first state. As a result, the lens of the view finder optical system is driven and consequently, the image corresponding to the determined image forming area appears in the whole area of the view finder. An exposure is effected by the depression of the release button to the second stage.
