摘要： A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material is disclosed, capable of forming an image by, after exposure of a light-sensitive material, supplying water corresponding to from 1/10 to 1 times the water necessary for giving maximum swelling of all coated layers of a light-sensitive material and a processing material to the light-sensitive material or the processing material, laminating these materials to each other and then heating them, the light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon at least one photographic light-sensitive layer comprising a light-sensitive silver halide, a developing agent, a compound capable of forming a dye upon coupling reaction with an oxidation product of the developing agent and a binder, and the processing material comprising a support having thereon a processing layer containing a base and/or a base precursor, wherein at least two kinds of silver halide emulsions having spectral sensitivity in the same wavelength region and different in the average grain projected area are used in combination such that an emulsion having a larger average grain projected area has a ratio of silver halide grain numbers per unit area of the light-sensitive material larger than the ratio of the values obtained by dividing the coated silver amount of the emulsion by the 3/2nd power of average grain projected area. Also disclosed is a method for forming a color image using the same.

There is also disclosed silver halide photographic light-sensitive materials and image-forming methods, using the color-developing agent. ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents a halogen atom or an aliphatic group substituted with at least one halogen atom; R.sup.2 represents a substituent; L represents --CONR.sup.4 --, --COO--, --CO--, --SO.sub.2 NR--, --C(.dbd.NR.sup.4)NR.sup.5 --, or --C(.dbd.NR.sup.4)O--; R.sup.3, R.sup.4, and R.sup.5 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, an aliphatic, aryl, or hererocyclic group; in formula (I-1), n is 1 or 2, m is 0 or 1, and the sum of n and m is 1 or 2; in formulae (I-2) to (I-4), n is 1 to 3, m is 0 to 2, and the sum of n and m is 1 to 3. R.sup.1 and R.sup.2, R.sup.1 and R.sup.1, and R.sup.2 and R.sup.2, respectively, do not bond together to form any ring. 摘要： There is disclosed a light-sensitive material comprising, in a hydrophilic colloid provided on a base, a color-developing agent represented by formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, an aryl group, or a heterocyclic group; X.sup.1, X.sup.3, and X.sup.5 each represent a hydrogen atom, a nitro group, a cyano group, an alkylsulfonyl group, an arylsulfonyl group, an alkylsulfinyl group, an arylsulfinyl group, a sulfamoyl group, a carbamoyl group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, an aryloxycarbonyl group, an acyl group, a trifluoromethyl group, or a heterocyclic group; and X.sup.2 and X.sup.4 each represent a hydrogen atom, a nitro group, a cyano group, an alkylsulfonyl group, an arylsulfonyl group, an alkylsulfinyl group, an arylsulfinyl group, a sulfamoyl group, a carbamoyl group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, an aryloxycarbonyl group, an acyl group, a trifluoromethyl group, a halogen atom, an acyloxy group, an acylthio group, or a heterocyclic group; with the proviso that the sum of the Hammett .sigma.p values of X.sup.1, X.sup.3, and X.sup.5 and the Hammett .sigma.m values of X.sup.2 and X.sup.4 is 1.50 or more but 3.80 or below. There is also disclosed a novel color-developing agent that can be built in. By using the color-developing agent, the light-sensitive material can attain a rapid and simple formation of an image.
