摘要: A seamless solution transparently addresses the characteristics of nomadic systems, and enables existing network applications to run reliably in mobile environments. A Mobility Management Server coupled to the mobile network maintains the state of each of any number of Mobile End Systems and handles the complex session management required to maintain persistent connections to the network and to other peer processes. If a Mobile End System becomes unreachable, suspends, or changes network address (e.g., due to roaming from one network interconnect to another), the Mobility Management Server maintains the connection to the associated peer task—allowing the Mobile End System to maintain a continuous connection even though it may temporarily lose contact with its network medium. An interface-based listener uses network point of attachment information supplied by a network interface to determine roaming conditions and to efficiently reestablish connection upon roaming. The Mobility Management Server can distribute lists to Mobile End Systems specifying how to contact it over disjoint networks.

摘要: A fiberglass hole plug for sealing unused openings in electrical enclosures is disclosed. The hole plug includes a cover having a first side and a second side and defining a peripheral edge and a threaded member having a first end and a second end. The second end of the threaded member is attached to the second side of the cover, axially extends in a direction away from the cover, wherein a radial distance between the threaded member and the peripheral edge on the second side of said cover is less than or equal to one-half inch. The hole plug further includes a fastener threadably attached to the threaded member, whereby rotation of the fastener adjusts a longitudinal distance between the first end and the second end of the threaded member.

摘要: A mixing spray device adapted to mix an added material with source water supplied from a hose. The mixing spray device comprises a main body and a container that may be detachably attached to the main body. The mixing spray device may be configured to operate in an off configuration in which nothing is dispensed, a water configuration in which only water is dispense, and a mixture configuration in which both water and the added material are dispensed. The mixing spray device may also comprise an attachment assembly that is rotatably connected to a handle portion. The container is detachably attached to the attachment assembly and thus may rotate relative to the handle portion. The container may be provided with a container member, an interface member, and a restriction member. The container may be attached to the main body using a flange on the container and a latch structure on the main body.

摘要: A mass spectrometer is disclosed wherein a z-lens upstream of an orthogonal acceleration Time of Flight mass analyser is repeatedly switched between a first mode wherein ions are transmitted to the mass analyser for subsequent mass analysis with a relatively high transmission and a second mode wherein ions are transmitted with a relatively low transmission. If it is determined that mass spectral data obtained when the mass analyser is in the first mode is suffering from saturation, then suitably scaled mass spectral data obtained when the mass analyser is in the second mode is used instead. If the saturation is severe then the mass spectral data obtained in the first mode may be replaced in its entirety with mass spectral data obtained in the second mode.
