    摘要: A color application system and method provide improved results of the color application and the operation of the color application system, for example color application errors due to varying pressure are reduced or eliminated, by using a color application system having one or more receivers for wireless data transfer between components of the color application system, wherein one of the components is a color sprayer having a detecting unit for detecting operating parameters of the color sprayer and/or environmental parameters, and a transmitter for wirelessly transferring the operating parameters and/or environmental parameters to the receiver. In a method for operating such a color application system, the operating parameters of spray air pressure and/or optionally the pressure of the medium to be sprayed is detected in or at the color sprayer, and then the detected pressure or pressures are wirelessly transferred to one or more components of the color application system.

    摘要: Container assemblies (100) that transition between a sealing state and a retained venting state are described. The container assemblies each include a body portion (110) having an open end (113), and a lid portion (120) adapted to cover the open end of the body portion to create an enclosed volume, e.g. reservoir, and additionally comprise a venting feature (140). When the fluid pressure within the enclosed volume is less than a threshold pressure, the lid portion is in a sealing state such that the lid portion and the body portion cooperate to maintain a substantially fluid-tight seal against fluid leaving the enclosed volume. When the fluid pressure is greater than or equal to the threshold pressure, the lid portion is in a retained venting state such that the excess fluid pressure from the enclosed volume vents through the venting feature while retaining the lid portion on the body portion.

Noisy compressors, pressurized cylinders and air lines are all eliminated. The amount of unused solutions are reduced due to its ability to produce a smaller and more uniform droplet size which, in turn, produces a fine misty spray unlike some of the more traditional applicators. Due to its lack of complexity and awkwardness, the user is able to apply liquid in a simple and graceful manner.

    摘要: A spraying device is provided that includes a cartridge containing a first fluid, the cartridge being removably connected to a sprayer body. The cartridge is oriented such that gravity exerts a downward force on the first fluid. The sprayer body includes a conduit for receiving a second fluid. A valve is coupled to the conduit. The valve allows the second fluid to flow through the valve, thus creating a Venturi vacuum that draws the first fluid out of the cartridge and into the valve to enable the first and second fluids to mix and form an outlet stream. An orifice meters a predetermined amount of the first fluid into the valve to achieve a predetermined ratio of the first fluid to the second fluid. The outlet stream is then dispensed from a spray nozzle.
