Abstract:
A flow control assembly includes a manifold coupled to a positive displacement pump. A fluid input unit is coupled to the fluid inlet and includes a diluent input to receive a diluent and a concentrate input to receive a selectively adjustable flow of a liquid concentrate. A mixing chamber combines the diluent and the liquid concentrate to form a mixed solution to be delivered to the pump. A bypass unit has a bypass conduit to receive a high pressure mixed fluid from the pump. A bypass valve is positionable within the manifold between a closed position and an open position. The bypass valve is closed when the high pressure mixed fluid is below a threshold pressure and open when the high pressure mixed fluid is above the threshold pressure. A portion of the high pressure mixed fluid is reintroduced to the mixing chamber via the bypass inlet.
Abstract:
A process and a nebulizer for dispensing a consecutively dose of medicament in the form of a mist, comprising: an energy source (ES), an air-conditioning volume, an air outlet fluidity connected to the air-containing volume, an air actuator adapted to release a flow of compressed air through the air outlet at such time as a predetermined ES pressure has been reached in the volume and at least two valve means in communication with the air actuator. The compressed air is released at a predetermined pressure of about 20 to about 100 psig. The valve means controls the actuation of the air actuator such that when a medication is nebulized, a mist distribution of a medication is formed having droplets size in the range of approximately 1μ to approximately 7μ which inhaled by a user at a set of predetermined intervals.

Abstract:
Described is a fluid dispensing container having a bottle and fluid withdrawing assembly for liquids, such as liquid cleaners and the like. The bottle has an integral dip tube formed therein connecting at a landing below the top of the bottle neck, fluidly connecting the inside of the bottle with the top opening of the bottle. A fluid dispensing mechanism, such as a hose sprayer, is attached to the top of the bottle to take fluid up through the integral dip tube and dispense the fluid accordingly. The fluid dispensing mechanism may be aligned to allow a direct connection between integral dip tube and the fluid dispensing mechanism at a landing below the bottle opening. The fluid dispensing mechanism may be attached to the bottle with a snap-fit connection.
Abstract:
A portable airbrush with improved mechanisms for aerosolizing paint and for facilitating stenciling. The device utilizes an air compressor that is compact, portable and relatively lightweight. The air compressor is housed in a base that has projections to hold stencils in positions that make it easier for a person to spray his or her own nails. The stencils are removably attached to the projections with stencil fasteners. The mechanism for aerosolizing the paint arranges an air-emitting nozzle, a paint-emitting needle, and its attached paint reservoir in such a way that when the nozzle and paint reservoir are removed from the wand, substantially no residual paint remains in the wand. The air compressor may be battery-powered or powered by house current, and the device may be packaged in a case with numerous stencils and refillable bottles of paint.
Abstract:
The present disclosure generally relates to a nozzle or tip for a fluid delivery system, and more specifically, but not by limitation, to a nozzle for a texture sprayer. In one exemplary embodiment, a texture spraying system is provided and includes a spraying device, an air source configured to provide pressurized air to the spraying device, and a texture material source configured to provide texture material to the spraying device. The system also includes a nozzle mounted proximate an output of the spraying device. The nozzle receives a flow of air and a flow of texture material. The nozzle includes a pin positioned in the airflow and is configured to produce a spray pattern that is substantially rectangular.
