    摘要: A sleeve repeater includes a meter sleeve mount and a meter ring mount. The meter sleeve mount interfaces to a utility meter and includes an antenna that is electrically coupled to internal sleeve repeater circuitry. The meter ring mount interfaces with the meter sleeve mount and is attachable to a desired surface to provide a mounted support to the meter sleeve mount and the utility meter. The sleeve repeater includes an antenna that may be internal or external to the meter sleeve mount. An external antenna is preferably enclosed with a dome for protection. The sleeve repeater is able to collect utility meter data from its proximate meter and from a plurality of remotely located repeaters. The sleeve repeater is able to transmit the collected data to collector or other intermediate devices so that the data may reach the head end of an AMR system. A decorative embodiment is available.

    摘要: An apparatus is provided for transmitting data in an airbag activation system mounted on a vehicle. The apparatus comprises a communication channel, a plurality of sensor units mutually communicably connected via the communication channel, and a processing unit. Each sensor unit senses a state of the vehicle, produces data indicative of the sensed state of the vehicle into a set of digital data including actually sensed data of a predetermined bit length, the actually sensed data corresponding to the sensed state of the vehicle, and outputs the set of digital data to the communication channel at predetermined transmission intervals. The bit length of the actually sensed data is changed depending on the sensed state of the vehicle. The set of digital data is outputted successively from the sensor modules. The processing unit successively receives the digital data from each sensor unit via the communication channel.

    摘要: A medical telemetry system includes a central station having a central station receiver and a central station transmitter that both operate on a frequency bandwidth having frequency multiplexed transmission channels and guard bands. A guard band separates each of the frequency-multiplexed transmission channels. The central station receiver wirelessly receives patient data from one of the frequency-multiplexed transmission channels. The central station transmitter wirelessly transmits control data information via each of the guard bands. At least one patient monitor is provided that includes a patient monitor receiver and a patient monitor transmitter that both operate on the frequency bandwidth. The patient monitor is wirelessly connected to the central station. The patient monitor receiver is configured for wirelessly receiving the control data information from the central station transmitter via the guard bands. The patient monitor transmitter is configured for wirelessly transmitting the patient data to the central station receiver via one of the frequency multiplexed transmission channels.

The measurement system includes both a current transformer that senses current within the wire and generates a first output signal and a voltage input that senses voltage within the wire and generates a second output signal. A measurement device receives both the first and second output signals and in response generates a third signal representative of the power flow within the wire. The measurement device includes both a speech encoding circuit that receives the third signal and in response generates a voice signal, and a transmitter that receives the voice signal and transmits the voice signal to the remotely located operator.
