摘要: Microphones, microphone systems, and methods for capturing and processing sound are described. The microphones and microphone systems may adaptively change the direction from which sound is captured. The microphones and microphone systems avoid the need to provide arrays of microphones, while providing adaptive beamforming without a time delay between each channel of information, and multi-directional sound capture. A dependency between the frequency response and system size is also avoided.

摘要: A device for manipulating an incident acoustic wave to generate an acoustic output is described wherein the device comprises a plurality of unit cells arranged into an array, at least some of said unit cells being configured to introduce time delays to an incident acoustic wave at the respective positions of the unit cells within the array of unit cells, such that said plurality of unit cells define an array of time delays to thereby define a spatial delay distribution for manipulating an incident acoustic wave to generate an acoustic output. The array of time delays may be re-configured to vary the spatial delay distribution of the device in order to generate different acoustic outputs. Also described are methods for designing or configuring such devices.

In one embodiment, a method comprises generating a music feature file based on selected audio, the music feature file comprising metadata for the selected audio including a plurality of time markers indicating audio events in the selected audio, and automatically controlling one or more lights according to the music feature file. In another embodiment, other approaches and systems are provided to improve a light show or to provide structures and processed files which can be used to improve a light show or provide other features.

摘要: A conference device and a computer-implemented method for training a neural network are disclosed, the conference device comprising a conference controller; a microphone array comprising a plurality of microphones for provision of audio signals representing audio from one or more sound sources; a direction estimator connected to the conference controller and the microphone array, the direction estimator configured to obtain, from the microphone array, a plurality of audio signals including a first audio signal and a second audio signal; determine direction data based on the plurality of audio signals, the direction data comprising an indication of an estimated probability of voice activity for one or more directions, wherein to determine direction data comprises to apply an offline-trained neural network; and output audio data based on the direction data to the conference controller.
