    Abstract: In one embodiment, a method can comprise sending identification data representative of an identification of a base station device to a subscriber identity module. In response to the sending the identification data, the method can comprise receiving status data representative of a response from the subscriber identity module, and based on the receiving the status data, sending, fetch data representative of a command to be acquired from the subscriber identity module. Additionally, the method can comprise receiving, from the subscriber identity module, command data associated with the command to be performed by the mobile device. Furthermore, based on the receiving the command data, the method can comprise sending, to the base station device, response data representative of whether the command has been determined to have been performed.

    Abstract: Wireless network operations can choose a long-term evolution (LTE) and 5G new radio (NR) dual connectivity deployment architecture using LTE as the anchor radio access network (RAN) node and adding mmWave NR as a secondary node when available. However, dual LTE/NR radios can consume more power and contribute more heat, thus degrading performance of radio frequency components. The overheating can be addressed by the user equipment (UE) sending an information message to indicate areas in which it requests to operate with reduced capability. Consequently, the network can determine whether to grant the request, or the UE can switch between NR to LTE depending on NR downlink channel quality.

    Abstract: Mobile device testing efficiencies can be increased by a testing interface designed to elicit mobile device characteristics from a mobile device. A mapping table can be used to request specific characteristic data from a mobile device. Once received by a base station device, the base station device can utilize the characteristic data to optimize performance of the base station device and/or the mobile device. The requested characteristics can comprise temperature data, beamforming data, array data, and/or other data that is relative to the mobile device and its performance.

    Abstract: Various embodiments disclosed herein provide for optimization of information required for establishing an initial connection with a network device.     Abstract: The described technology is generally directed towards adaptively selecting a repetition level in wireless communications, based on events to improve coverage range via the repetition level while not unnecessarily reducing throughput. One such event can include a current signal-to-noise-ratio, e.g., as reported in a channel quality indicator report from a user equipment. Another such event can comprise a number of consecutive hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgments or negative acknowledgments (HARQ ACKS/NACKS), in which consecutive ACKs tend to indicate good signal quality, while consecutive NACKs tend to indicate poor signal quality. A combination of channel quality indicator-based adaptive repetition level and HARQ ACK/NACK-based adaptive repetition level can be employed.

    Abstract: An audio adjustment and profile system is provided that can track individuals and speaker locations in an area to dynamically calibrate speakers to provide a uniform listening experience. The system can generate an acoustic model of a room and further calibrate speakers using the acoustic model. The audio adjustment and profile system can also use profile information associated with the listener to customize the listening experience based on the preference information in the profile information. The preference information can comprise mood preferences that emphasize certain frequencies and tones while limiting others.

    Abstract: Various embodiments disclosed herein provide for facilitating informing a radio access network of the capabilities of a user equipment device with regard to switching and aggregation of streams received from master and secondary base station devices. Different user equipment device may have different capabilities with regard to aggregated and combining streams received from the base station devices (e.g., split bearer) or switching between the streams (fast switching). The embodiments described herein provide a way for the UE to inform the radio access network about the capabilities of the UE device. In an embodiment, in response to receiving a query from the radio access network, the UE can return via a UE resource capability information element, an indicator indicating the capabilities of the UE device. The indicator can be an integer bit that has different values depending on the capabilities of the UE device.
