Abstract:
The present invention is to provide a combination antenna having multi-mode and multi-band arrangements, which comprises a conductive seat; a non-uniform helical antenna extending from one end of the conductive seat; and a pole antenna extending from one end of the conductive seat through the helical antenna, enabling to be tuned to three or more resonant frequencies through tuning the helical antenna to a plurality of resonant frequencies and tuning the pole antenna to a plurality of resonant frequencies different from that to which the helical antenna is tuned.
Abstract:
A short distance wireless setting system and method aim to set automatic transfer function for at least one mobile phone. The setting system includes a short distance transmission module and a short distance receiving module. The short distance transmission module is located in a transfer phone to transmit the telephone number data thereof. The short distance receiving module is located in the mobile phone to receive the telephone number data of the transfer phone. After the short distance receiving module has received the telephone number data of the transfer phone, the mobile phone is set to automatic transfer to the telephone number of the transfer phone.
Abstract:
A method for selectively connecting a multi-mode mobile phone with a mobile communication network or a wireless network is constructed among a mobile communication network, a wireless network and a multi-mode mobile phone, wherein the multi-mode mobile phone includes a first number corresponding to the mobile communication network, a second number corresponding to the wireless network, and a switching connection software. The multi-mode mobile phone can use the switching connection software to automatically connect the multi-mode mobile phone to the wireless network or the mobile communication network to maintain a better communication quality.
Abstract:
The present invention is to provide a cellular phone capable of detecting counterfeit currency or lighting comprising a counterfeit currency detection bulb, a lamp and a keypad, wherein the keypad includes a first dual key in association with the counterfeit currency detection bulb, a second dual key in association with the lamp and a plurality of third keys, such that in response to pressing the first dual key or the second dual key, the cellular phone activates the counterfeit currency detection bulb for detecting counterfeit currency or activates the lamp for lighting respectively.
Abstract:
The present invention is to provide a cellular phone capable of measuring temperature including a liquid crystal display, a CPU and an IR temperature measurement means coupled to the CPU, wherein a first GPO pin and a second GPO pin of the CPU are adapted to control power supply of a power supply IC and start or stop of the IR temperature measurement means respectively, and in response to receiving a temperature measurement signal, the CPU performs a plurality of processing and conversion steps to show a corresponding temperature on the display.
Abstract:
A method for rapidly inputting a Chinese character in a mobile phone is provided. The method comprises: entering into a Chinese text editing status and receiving an input code; displaying a plurality of choices of the Chinese characters corresponding to the input code, the plurality of the choices of the Chinese characters being arranged in an order based on a usage frequency of each of the plurality of choices of the Chinese characters; selecting one Chinese character from the plurality of choices of the Chinese characters; and adjusting the usage frequency of the selected Chinese character. The method utilizes a data structure with a weighting value for each Chinese character so that during the input process, the usage frequency of each character is recorded. Hence, the method can expedite the users selection of the Chinese character with a higher usage frequency to attune to the users personal habit.
Abstract:
A micromirror which includes a substrate, a reflective layer comprising pure aluminum overlying the substrate and a protective layer comprising titanium nitride overlying the reflective layer is disclosed.
Abstract:
An infrared transmission system with automatic character identification is disclosed. In the process of identifying a selected type of internal code contained in information sent from a sender device, check whether the value of each character contained in the sent information is within a default range of a specific internal code, discard all internal codes having values other than the default range, perform an conversion and an analysis on the qualified information based on the value of internal code thereof, select those less frequently appeared and qualified types of internal codes as the types of internal codes, and convert the received information into one having the type of internal code compatible to the recipient device. This can prevent random codes from occurring, show the correct information at the recipient device, carry out an errorless information communication and exchange between various electronic devices supporting software of different languages.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a sigma-delta digital to analog converted (DAC) including a digital-sigma delta modulator, a decimation filter, and a multi-bit DAC. The digital sigma-delta modulator receives a digital input signal and produces a quantized digital signal therefrom. The decimation filter receives the quantized digital signal and produces a decimated digital signal therefrom. The multi-bit DAC receives the decimated digital signal and produces an analog output signal therefrom. The analog output signal is representative of the digital input signal.
Abstract:
The invention provides a rapid phrase identification method, especially for Spanish derivatives. The main concern of the present invention is to provide for an electronic Spanish dictionary device a means for quickly identifying a derivative without demanding large memory space for storing all the Spanish vocabulary, etymons and derivatives. All the transformation rules from etymons to derivatives have been collected, classified and reversed to give reversion rules. These reversion rules are sorted and indexed into a look-up table for searching. A rapid searching method pursuant to this look-up table is proposed.
