Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for selecting a bearer mode, a packet gateway, and a policy and charging rule function entity, relating to the field of communications technologies, and solving the problem that a base station selects a suitable air interface transmission mode for a bearer of a mobile terminal. Indication information of an air interface transmission mode supported by a mobile terminal is received. According to the indication information and a received enhanced policy and charging control rule that is sent by a policy and charging rule function entity, an air interface transmission mode allowed to be used by a bearer bound with a service flow of the mobile terminal is determined. A session establishment reply message is sent to a serving gateway to which the mobile terminal belongs, where the session establishment reply message comprises the air interface transmission mode allowed to be used by the bearer.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for transmitting a small data packet, and a device. The method includes: receiving, by a data transmission device, small data packet indication information sent by a gateway; and if the data transmission device determines, according to the small data packet indication information, that a to-be-sent data packet is a small data packet, transmitting, by the data transmission device, the small data packet in a control plane transmission manner. The present invention can ensure that a data transmission device accurately determines a small data packet, and avoid a network signaling increase caused by a determining error, thereby reducing a network load.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention disclose a data transmission method, a mobility management entity, and a mobile terminal. The method includes: receiving, by a mobility management entity, a small data transmission parameter that is sent by a home subscriber server HSS or a user equipment, where the small data transmission parameter includes an indication of whether the user equipment supports small data transmission; determining, by the mobility management entity, a small data transmission policy according to the small data transmission parameter; sending, by the mobility management entity, the determined small data transmission policy to the user equipment; and performing, by the mobility management entity, the small data transmission with the user equipment according to the small data transmission policy. The present invention proposes a relatively complete small data transmission solution, thereby implementing effective transmission of small data.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a service access control method and apparatus, where the method includes acquiring TFT information, and when service data access control starts, determining whether service data is within an allowed access range of the TFT information or determining whether indication information carried in the TFT information indicates that access of service data corresponding to the TFT information is allowed. If a result of the determining is yes, allowing the access by the service data to the network, or if a result of the determining is not, denying the service data access to the network. A particular service can be restricted from access to a network, or a particular service can be allowed access to the network.
Abstract:
An access control method includes: obtaining, by a protocol-stack upper layer of a terminal, an override identifier; starting, by the protocol-stack upper layer of the terminal, an application specific congestion control for data connectivity ACDC check according to a service initiated by the terminal; and, if the protocol-stack upper layer of the terminal confirms that the service initiated by the terminal can pass the ACDC check and determines that the override identifier corresponding to an application identifier of the service passing the ACDC check is overriding an access class barring ACB check, sending, by the protocol-stack upper layer of the terminal, an RRC establishment request message to an access layer of the terminal, where the request message carries an indication of not performing an ACB check. Therefore, even if the terminal cannot pass the ACB check, the terminal can still perform services of some particular applications.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a proximity information registration method, a query method, and a user equipment. The proximity information registration method includes: sending, by a first user equipment, a proximity service request to a proximity service server, where the proximity service request sent by the first user equipment carries an equipment identifier of the first user equipment; monitoring and obtaining, by the first user equipment, broadcast information of a second user equipment which is broadcast by the second user equipment; and registering the broadcast information of the second user equipment with the proximity service server, so that the proximity service server converts the broadcast information of the second user equipment into an equipment identifier of the second user equipment according to a correspondence between the equipment identifier of the second user equipment and the broadcast information of the second user equipment stored by the proximity service server.
Abstract:
A data communication method, a communication system, and related devices are configured to establish a transaction identifier (TI) in a user equipment (UE). The data communication method includes the following steps. A mobility management entity (MME) receives a request message and obtains ability information of the UE. If the UE has an ability to access a Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network/GSM/EDGE Radio Access Network (UTRAN/GERAN), the MME generates the TI. A communication system and related devices are also provided. Thus, the TI is effectively established in the UE, so as to ensure normal processing of the UE.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method which includes: receiving a message, where the message carries a parameter indicating a validity period of a short message sent to a user or indication information indicating whether a record needs to be added to MWD of a user when a short message cannot be transmitted or fails to be transmitted; determining that the short message cannot be transmitted or the short message fails to be transmitted, and a value of the parameter is 0 or the indication information indicates that the record does not need to be added to the MWD of the user when the short message cannot be transmitted or fails to be transmitted; and skipping adding the record to the MWD of the user, where the record includes an identifier of a service centre for short message service serving the user. According to the method, additional signaling interaction is reduced.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a bearer establishment method, a base station, a packet data gateway, and a computer system, where the bearer establishment method includes: receiving a D2D mode indication requested by an AF entity or a proximity service server for a source UE, where the D2D mode indication includes a first D2D connection establishment mode or a second D2D connection establishment mode; and according to the D2D mode indication, when a D2D connection can be established successfully, establishing the D2D connection for the source UE; or when a D2D connection cannot be established successfully, establishing a common connection if the D2D mode indication is the first D2D connection establishment mode, and feeding back a connection establishment failure response to the AF entity or the proximity service server if the D2D mode indication is the second D2D connection establishment mode.
Abstract:
A device discovery method includes: enabling, by a first device, a device-to-device monitoring and broadcasting function; after the first device detects broadcast information of a second device, reporting the broadcast information of the second device and a user identifier of a target user to a network side, requesting that the network side obtains, according to the broadcast information of the second device, an identifier of a user that logs in to the second device, and determines whether the identifier of the user that logs in to the second device is the user identifier of the target user; and receiving a result of the determining returned by the network side, and confirming, by the first device according to the result of the determining, whether a device to which the target user logs in falls within a preset distance from the first device.
