摘要: Wireless mobile communication (WMC) devices located in near proximity of each other may be enabled to form a mesh (ad hoc wireless) network. WMC devices may form and/or tear down intra-mesh connection with other WMC devices in the same mesh network. WMC devices may utilize information related to other WMC devices in the mesh network in determining formation and tearing down of intra-mesh connections. This information may comprise relative speeds, locations, and directions of movement of the WMC devices forming/tearing intra-mesh connections. Other information including data bandwidth and/or power consumption may be utilized in such determination. This information may also comprise available services advertised by WMC devices in the mesh network.

摘要: A controller for transmitting digital content to a television is herein disclosed and enabled. The controller may be included in a television or externally connectable to a television. The controller may be wirelessly managed via a Bluetooth-enabled device or by using a smart phone. To setup the controller, the controller may wirelessly obtain setup information (e.g., ID, security, or authentication information) from either the Bluetooth-enabled device or from the smart phone via wireless communication (e.g., Bluetooth or IEEE 802.11), then the controller uses the wirelessly obtained information to access a wireless local area network (LAN) for establishing services. The controller includes chips or chipsets that is compatible with at least one protocol within IEEE 802.11 standards for accessing the Wireless LAN. After connecting to the Wireless LAN, the controller may further wirelessly receive digital content from a mobile device for playing or outputting the digital content at the television.

摘要: A method of transferring digital content from a mobile wireless information apparatus such as a smart phone, an information Pad, or a digital Pad to a wireless output device associated with a television by short range wireless communication. The method may include downloading video digital content from the Internet to the mobile wireless information apparatus and may open a short range wireless communication that is compatible with IEEE802.11 or with Bluetooth™ standard for output. The method may select a wireless output device associated with the television. Subsequently, the information apparatus may conform the digital content into an output data for transferring the output data over the short range wireless connection to the selected wireless output device associated with the television for output.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a pre-5th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4th-Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE).A subscriber server supporting subscription of an electronic device in a communication system is provided. The subscriber server includes a transceiver configured to transmit and receive a signal, and a controller configured to receive a first subscription connection request message of the electronic device from a terminal, the first subscription connection request message including subscription terminal information of the terminal and identification information of the electronic device, authenticate a user of the terminal on a basis of the subscription terminal information included in the received first subscription connection request message, and transmit a second subscription connection request message of the electronic device to a support server if the user authentication has succeeded. The subscription terminal information of the terminal is used to acquire subscription information of the electronic device so as to subscribe the electronic device.

Some methods can include placing a sensing device within a predetermined distance of an access point or a control panel and, responsive thereto, the sensing device communicating with the access point or the control panel via near field talk on a pairing channel of the access point or the control panel to pair the sensing device with the access point or the control panel. The pairing channel can be different from a plurality of working channels of the access point or the control panel.

摘要: A method for pairing devices in a communication network using a cue signal may include receiving by a first computing device in a communication network, a cue signal. The cue signal is matched with a pre-determined cue signal. A listening window can be opened upon successful matching of the received cue signal with a pre-determined signal. A device identifier broadcast associated with a second computing device within the communication network may be detected during the listening window. The device identifier may be broadcast in response to the cue signal. Pairing may be initiated with the second computing device. The listening window may be of a fixed duration, and the device identifier may be detected prior to expiration of the fixed duration.

A method comprises detecting, at a companion device, presence of a primary device that is paired with the companion device according to at least one short-range radio communication technique. The method additionally comprises connecting the companion device to a cellular network upon detecting that the primary device is not present. With the claimed inventions, the battery life of the companion device can be extended.

摘要: Measures are provided for management of RRC for D2D communication. Such measures include setting a connected state of RRC for device(s) of a pair of devices. For the devices(s), both a D2D communication service between the pair of devices and a core network communication service between the device(s) and a core network entity are active. The setting enables radio resource management for the device(s) for the D2D communication service and the core network communication service. Termination of the core network communication service is detected for the device(s). A connection towards the core network entity is reconfigured for disabling the core network communication service of the device(s). The connected state of RRC is maintained for the devices(s) of the pair of devices, for which the device(s) only the device-to-device communication service is active. The maintaining enables radio resource management for the device(s) for the D2D communication service.
