摘要: Memory strings includes: a first semiconductor layer including a columnar portion extending in a direction perpendicular to a substrate; a first electric charge storage layer formed to surround a side surface of the columnar portion; and a first conductive layer formed to surround the first electric charge storage layer. First selection transistors includes: a second semiconductor layer extending upward from a top surface of the columnar portion; a second electric charge storage layer formed to surround a side surface of the second semiconductor layer; and a second conductive layer formed to surround the second electric charge storage layer. The non-volatile semiconductor storage device further includes a control circuit that causes, prior to reading data from a selected one of the memory strings, electric charges to be accumulated in the second electric charge storage layer of one of the first selection transistors connected to an unselected one of the memory strings.

摘要: System for detecting stability/instability of behavior of a motor vehicle upon occurrence of tire slip or lock. State of the motor vehicle is determined on the basis of an alignment torque (Ta) applied from a road and a side slip angle (β). By taking advantage of such torque/slip-angle characteristic that although the alignment torque is proportional to a side slip angle when the latter is small, the alignment torque becomes smaller as the side slip angle increases, a normal value is determined from a straight line slope and the side slip angle in a region where the latter is small. Unstable behavior of the motor vehicle is determined when deviation of actual measured value from the normal value increases. Further, unstable state is determined when the slope of the alignment torque for the slip angle departs significantly from that of approximate straight line slope.

摘要: If the diameter of an opening side neck portion is decreased to minimize the contact surface between contents and air and a small cap is fitted on a container where there is the concern that exposure to air may alter the quality of contents in the container, there is not only the problem that a gap results between the cap top board and the container opening where adequate locking force is not available but the problem that force is required to open and close the lid, making removal and fitting troublesome.A container made so a large cap can be fitted thereto by providing a cap locking neck portion 30 whose inner and outer diameters are larger than an opening side neck portion 13 at a container should side neck portion 14 of a container neck 10.

摘要: To produce activated carbon for an electrode of an electric double-layer capacitor, the following steps are carried out sequentially: a step of subjecting a massive mesophase pitch to a pulverizing treatment to provide a pulverized powder; a step of subjecting the pulverized powder to an infusibilizing treatment under conditions of a temperature in a range of 300° C. (inclusive) to 450° C. (inclusive) in the atmospheric air current, a step of subjecting the pulverized powder to a carbonizing treatment under conditions of a temperature in a range of 600° C. (inclusive) to 900° C. (inclusive) in an inert gas current to provide a carbonized powder, a step of subjecting the carbonized powder to an alkali activating treatment under conditions of a temperature in a range of 500° C. (inclusive) to 1,000° C. (inclusive) in an inert gas atmosphere, followed by the post treatments, thereby producing alkali-activated carbon, and a step of subjecting the alkali-activated carbon to a pulverizing treatment. If an electrode is produced using the activated carbon, the electrode density can be increased.

摘要: A user's handwritten signature data is transmitted to a host device, when the user registers his or her signature. A signature information controlling unit reads the codes of a character string of a font closest to handwriting shape data by referencing a signature dictionary information unit, extracts a predetermined number of digits of numeric values from the codes, generates a user ID by making the numeric values successive to the number of codes, and registers this user ID and the input handwritten signature to the signature dictionary information unit by making a correspondence between them. When a signature is authenticated, a user ID is automatically generated from a handwritten signature input by a user, and checked between generated user ID and registered user ID.
