Abstract: A method and apparatus for transmitting or detecting primary synchronization signal. The receiver receives primary synchronization signal from a transmitter, and detects the sequence used in the received primary synchronization signal by using three root indexes. Here, the primary synchronization signal is generated by using a Zadoff-Chu sequence having one of the three root indexes. The three root indexes comprise a first index and a second index, and a sum of the first index and the second index corresponds to the length of the Zadoff-Chu sequence.

Abstract: A method and a user equipment for transmitting control information in a communication system are discussed. The method according to an embodiment includes multiplying a transmission information symbol s for the control information by a frequency direction sequence c(k) to generate a first output sequence s(k), where s(k)=s*c(k), k=0, . . . , Nk−1, and Nk corresponds to a number of subcarriers included in a resource block allocated for an uplink control channel; multiplying the first output sequence s(k) by a time direction sequence x(n) to generate a second output sequence s(k, n), where s(k, n)=s(k)*x(n), n=0, . . . , Nn−1, and Nn corresponds to a number of symbols used for transmission of the control information in a transmission time interval; and transmitting the second output sequence s(k, n) through the uplink control channel in the transmission time interval.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for generating an uplink reference signal in a system supporting plural uplink-access transmission modes. The method comprises: a step for transmitting the reference signal configuration information about the configuration of a reference signal from a base station to a user device through an uplink grant PDCCH (Physical Downlink Control Channel), and a step for receiving from the user device a sub-frame including the reference signal that is generated based on the reference signal configuration information. The reference signal configuration information is prepared for plural uplink access transmission modes and includes a cyclic shift value for the sequence of the reference signal. The reference signal is supposed to be transmitted to an uplink, and the user device is set up to be operated in the uplink-access transmission mode that corresponding to the reference signal configuration information.

Abstract: A method for transmitting a synchronization signal by a transmitting side device to a receiving side device in a wireless access system. The method includes generating a concatenated code sequence in a frequency domain by concatenating a first code sequence having a first index (M1) and a second code sequence having a second index (M2). Each of the first code sequence and the second code sequence is obtained by cyclic shifting a code sequence. The concatenated code sequence is mapped to subcarriers for transmitting the synchronization signal via a secondary synchronization channel (S-SCH). The method further includes transforming the concatenated code sequence into a time domain signal; and transmitting the time domain signal to the receiving side device as the synchronization signal. The concatenated code sequence indicates a cell group identity (ID).

Abstract: A method is provided for generating Acknowledgement/Negative Acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) information by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system supporting carrier aggregation. Each of the plurality of downlink carriers support one or more codewords according to a transmission mode. The transmission mode is independently configured per each of the plurality of downlink carriers. The UE determines a total number of ACK/NACK bits, and generates a sequence of the ACK/NACK bits according to the total number of the ACK/NACK bits. The UE determines the total number of ACK/NACK bits based on a total number of the plurality of downlink carriers and a type of each transmission mode independently configured per each of the plurality of downlink carriers.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a method for transmitting, by a user equipment (UE), information in a wireless communication system includes: determining a first information sequence based on a first cyclically shifted base sequence and a first orthogonal sequence by using a first physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource for a first antenna, wherein the first PUCCH resource is obtained based on a channel control element (CCE) index related to a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) and a parameter configured by a higher layer; determining a second information sequence based on a second cyclically shifted base sequence and a second orthogonal sequence by using a second PUCCH resource for a second antenna, wherein the second PUCCH resource is obtained by adding an offset to the first PUCCH resource; transmitting the first information sequence via the first antenna; and transmitting the second information sequence via the second antenna.
