Abstract:
The present invention provides a method, system and computer program product for increasing the trading efficiencies for trading parties in an online market. The present invention couples the bilateral negotiations with the existing trading mechanisms. A buyer or seller in an online market can selectively execute the trading mechanism or invoke bilateral negotiations in order to arrive at attractive and feasibility of the trading deals. An alternate embodiment of the present invention provides method system and a computer program product for increasing the trading efficiency of the online market. The online market is regulated in order to maximize the number of trading parties that are able to strike trading deals within the regulations of the online market.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an oral drug delivery system comprising pravastatin or its pharmaceutically acceptable salts such that the system provides enhanced stability in the acidic environment of the stomach and exhibits controlled release of the drug.
Abstract:
A computerized method for sharing removable storage media in a network, the method comprising associating, in an index entry, a first piece of removable storage media in a first storage device with at least a first storage policy copy and a second storage policy copy; copying, to the first piece of removable storage media, data associated with the first storage policy copy; and copying, to the first piece of removable storage media, data associated with the second storage policy copy.
Abstract:
The present invention provides for the production of ASA from yeast capable of producing ASA from KLG. The present invention provides methods for the production of ASA as well as recombinant yeast capable of producing ASA from a carbon source.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for delivering multimedia video data from a server (host processor) to a plurality of clients connected to a communications network. More specifically, with this invention, preprocessed video and multimedia data packets are stored in switches of the network. When a client desires to receive the video and multimedia data, sends a request to the host processor which in turn sends a control message to the switches storing the requested data. These switches in turn send the requested data to the requesting client. If the data is not stored in the switches, the data must then be forwarded directly from the server to the requesting client.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus used to detect errors in a signal transmitted over a single wire. All transient errors are detected when the effect of the transient lasts for at least one cycle and not more than five cycles. Transient errors of longer duration will be detected if the level of the original signal at the start of the transient is different from that at the end of the transient. Stuck faults will be deleted if one onset of the stuck fault causes the level of the signal to change. Redundancy is incorporated by introducing redundant transitions in the signal on the same wire. This requires the successive transitions in the original signal to be at least three cycles apart. If a transition is viewed as a binary one and the absence of a transition as a binary zero then each binary one is replaced with the sequence "one-one-one" (overwriting subsequent zeros), and keeping each zero as the single bit "zero". Upon decoding, each group of three transitions is converted to a single transition. Signals having more than or less than three consecutive transitions which are not in multiples of three are determined to be in error.
