摘要: A fluorescent water base ink for ink-jet recording contains a fluorescent dye having a xanthene skeleton, and a glycol. In the fluorescent dye, the difference in hydrophilic index log P is not less than 2.6 between a substituent bonded to C-9 carbon atom of the xanthene skeleton and other portion of the fluorescent dye than the substituent bonded to the C-9 carbon atom. The glycol has a distance between hydroxyl groups substantially equivalent to or longer than an interatomic distance between atoms directly bonded to C-3 and C-6 carbon atoms of the xanthene skeleton of the fluorescent dye, respectively. It is assumed that the glycol is coordinated with the xanthene skeleton in a bridge form to increase the fluorescence intensity by increasing the electron density of the xanthene skeleton. The ink having high fluorescence intensity and in which the fluorescence intensity is not lowered in a time-dependent manner is provided.

摘要: Aqueous fluorescent inks are disclosed that fulfill United Sites Postal Service requirements for franking and/or automation compatibility, while being able to be used in an ink jet printer. The inks of this invention may be read by current United States Postal Service equipment. The inks are red fluorescent and waterfast, having improved print quality. The formulations are based on water, cosolvent and penetrant solutions of fluorescent toners. The cosolvents are low vapor pressure, polar solvents, and glycol ethers as penetrants.

摘要: An image transfer type recording method for forming a visible image on a developer medium comprising a base sheet, a thermoplastic resin layer, and a developer material layer which is color-reactable with a chromogenic material laminated in this order, and transferring the visible image on the developer medium to any type of image supporting medium, comprising the steps of forming the visible image on the developer material layer through a color-reaction between the developer material and the chromogenic material, providing an adhesive layer on the developer material layer, superposing the developer material layer and the image supporting medium under pressure and heat to fixedly transfer the developer material layer having the visible image thereon to the image supporting medium, and peeling off only the substrate of the developer medium.

摘要: An image transferring sheet is made of a combination of a thermally bonding sheet and a developer sheet and a method for fabricating such a sheet is provided. In the image transferring sheet, both sheets are hot-pressed in such a state that a thermoplastic resin layer of the thermally bonding sheet and a developer layer of the developer sheet on which an image has been formed are superposed, and the developer sheet should have a size larger than the thermally bonding sheet. The use of the image transferring sheet ensures easy separation of one sheet from another and transfer of the developer layer of the developer sheet onto the thermally bonding sheet.

摘要: The photo and pressure sensitive recording medium provided with a plurality of light permeable portions while the remaining portion thereof being light-shielded is disclosed. With this recording medium, a light can be projected through the recording medium onto a copy subject which is placed in close contact with the recording medium. The photosensitive surface of the recording medium is exposed to the light reflected from the copy subject and a latent image corresponding to the image fixed on the copy subject is formed on the recording medium.
