In an entire structure comprising internet network (20), a server (200) connected thereto, a base station of cell-phone network (40), a cell-phone (100), a removable medium equipped for the cell-phone (100) and a printer (30) having a slot for the removable medium, image data or character data uploaded to the server (200) from the cell-phone (100) having a camera is converted to the image data or the document data having appropriate image quality modification and layout applied thereto at the server, and then downloaded to the cell-phone (100). The data is stored in the removable media (10), and further transferred to the printer (30) so as to be printed on an appropriate medium. Herewith, by using communication network, it provides a system of applying layout to data sent from a communication terminal, converting it, and then returning it.

A peeling sheet on the back of a cover sheet is provided with a cover seal having a printed front surface is peeled off to partially expose an adhesive layer. A core material for cover is placed thereon. First side piece portion and second side piece portion are then peeled off and the entire surface of the first cover members, backbone member and second cover member of the core material for cover is bonded and fixed by the adhesive layer of the cover sheet for cover. Outer circumferential region of the cover seal for cover is then bent to the inside thus making a cover of a booklet. When a personal user edits electronic images and prints the electronic images on a printed sheet, the printed sheet can be fixed easily in a short time for making a booklet.

A printing apparatus includes a feed cassette detachably loaded in a main body of the printing apparatus for containing cut sheets, a sheet feeder unit for feeding a cut sheet contained in the feed cassette to the main body of printing apparatus, a printing unit for printing on the cut sheet feed by the sheet feeder unit, a bar code provided on the feed cassette or the cut sheet contained in the feed cassette for representing various information about the cut sheet, a bar code reader for reading the bar code, and an electronic control apparatus for controlling the sheet feeder unit and the printing unit. The bar code reader is provided on the main body of the printing apparatus at which the bar code reader is able to read the bar code when the feed cassette is loaded in the main body of the printing apparatus. The electronic control apparatus controls the sheet feeder unit and the printing unit based on the bar code read by the bar code reader.

In an optical printing system for printing an image on a recording sheet, adopted as the recording sheet is a sheet coated with microcapsules on one surface thereon. Each microcapsule envelopes a first component which changes color when reacts with a second component. The second component may be coated on the recording sheet or may be coated on a separate developing sheet. The microcapsule further envelopes a third component which varies the mechanical strength of microcapsule when light is projected thereto. An image is formed on the recording sheet by selectively exposing a light thereto in accordance with the image to be printed thereon, and the microcapsules on the recording sheet whose mechanical strength is low are then ruptured by rupturing means. Thereby, the visible image is developed. The exposing is carried out by repeating a predetermined-period exposure at a predetermined interval against the same portion of the recording sheet. The printing operation of the printing system is executed by control means in accordance with a predetermined sequence.

An optical image transfer system for transferring images to a photosensitive medium, which has a light source for generating a radiation having a first wavelength, and a wavelength converter disposed in a light path between the light source and the photosensitive medium, for converting the first wavelength of the radiation generated by the light source, to a second wavelength which is shorter than the first wavelength and to which the photosensitive medium is sensitive. The wavelength converter may be used in a system wherein images are transferred to a color-imaging photosensitive medium.

An image recording apparatus for recording an image corresponding to image information on an original, onto a photo-sensitive recording medium by a slit scanning exposure system. A resolution controller generates a control signal representative of designated resolution of the image to be recorded on the recording medium. A slit-width adjusting unit is operative in response to the control signal from the resolution controller for adjusting an opening width of a variable exposure slit arranged at an exposure station at which the recording medium is exposed. A scanning-speed adjusting unit is operative in response to the control signal from the resolution controller for adjusting scanning speed at which the original is scanned.

A magnetic recording medium is disclosed wherein the data tracks are formed of magnetic layers and the non-data tracks are formed of non-magnetic layers. The data tracks and non-data tracks are alternately disposed and the non-data tracks do not effect recording/reproducing/erasing of the data tracks. Another medium is disclosed wherein the magnetic and non-magnetic layers are alternately disposed in the direction of recording/reproducing and the magnetizing transition width is shortened so that the bit length may be shortened. A reproducing apparatus is also disclosed which includes a discriminator for discriminating the magnetizing direction of the magnetic layer on the data tracks on the basis of a detection signal fed from the reproducing head.

A plurality of pattern electrodes which are disposed in correspondence with the printing dots are provided on one surface of a substrate biased in one direction. An anisotropic electroconductive element is supported to enable its release on the substrate which has a first turn-on surface contacting the pattern electrodes on its substrate, and a second turn-on surface contacting the electroconductive transfer sheet and exhibiting excellent conductivity between only its first and second turn-on surfaces. In the printing action, electric conduction is achieved on a transfer sheet depending on the printing pattern from the pattern electrodes through the anisotropic element, so that the resistance layer of the sheet may emit heat, thereby the ink contained within the ink layer of the sheet is melted for printing.

A hot melt ink which is applicable to an ink jet printing system where the hot melt ink is jetted out to a printing medium to form an image on the printing medium includes a binder which contains a hot melt composition; a coloring material which is dispersed in the binder; and a photo-curing composition. The binder as a dispersion medium is dispersed in the photo-curing composition in the form of grains and a surface of the hot melt ink is covered with the photo-curing composition when the hot melt ink is fixed on the printing medium. An ink jet printing apparatus includes a jetting device which jets the above hot melt ink melted by heat out to a printing medium to draw an image on the printing medium; and a light source for irradiating the hot melt ink on the printing medium which is jetted out from the jetting device to cure the photo-curing composition.

The image developing part 10 is constructed from the developing agent storing part 20 storing the fluid developing agent 18 and the developing agent supplying part 22 confronting the surface of the photosensitive drum 12 via the minute opening 25. The developing agent supplying part 22 includes a pair of, upper and lower, flat plates 24a and 24b which are placed in parallel and which define the uniform minute opening 25 over an entire width of the photosensitive drum 12. The flat plates 24a and 24b are formed with the electrodes 26a and 26b, respectively. It is possible to finely adjust the gap between the flat plates 24a and 24b through operating the minute displacement actuator 28 placed at the gap between the flat plates 24a and 24b. It is therefore possible to control the pressure to be exerted upon the fluid developing agent 18.
