Abstract: Provided is a transmission method executed by a transmitting apparatus to transmit a content to a plurality of terminals. The content having transmission count information indicating a number of times the content is to be transmitted by the transmitting apparatus. The transmission method including a first transmission step of generating and transmitting a first transmission signal which transfers at least a first portion of a plurality of data packets including a plurality of content packets, storing data of the content therein, and a plurality of parity packets, generated from the content packets, and a second transmission step of, when the transmission count information of the content indicates a plurality of times, generating a second transmission signal including at least a second portion of the plurality of data packets, and transmitting the second transmission signal during a period which differs from a period during which the first transmission signal is transmitted.

Abstract: A reception apparatus according to the present disclosure includes a receiver which, in operation, receives a downlink signal including a first data signal for the reception apparatus and first Reference Signals for Phase Tracking (PT-RS). The first data signal is mapped on a first set of subcarriers and the first PT-RS is mapped to the downlink signal based on a first Modulation and Coding Scheme (MCS) configured for the first data signal. The reception apparatus according also includes a circuit which, in operation, estimates a phase noise using the first PT-RS included in the downlink signal.

At this point, video quality can be improved when the real-time broadcasting program content and the real-time line content are simultaneously displayed.

Abstract: Provided is a transmission method that improves data reception quality in radio transmission using a single-carrier scheme and/or a multi-carrier scheme. The transmission method includes: generating a plurality of first modulated signals and a plurality of second modulated signals from transmission data, the plurality of first modulated signals being signals generated using a 16QAM modulation scheme, and the plurality of second modulated signals being signals generated using uniform constellation 64QAM modulation; generating, from the plurality of first modulated signals and the plurality of second modulated signals, a plurality of first signal-processed signals and a plurality of second signal-processed signals which satisfy a predetermined equation; and changing the predetermined equation when a 64QAM modulation used to generate the plurality of second modulated signals is switched from the uniform constellation 64QAM modulation to a non-uniform constellation 64QAM modulation.

Abstract: Provided is a transmitting device which can expand a communication range when performing multicast/broadcast communication. Abstract: A transmission apparatus includes a signal processing circuit configured to obtain information data bits to be transmitted; add known information data bits to the information data bits to generate first data blocks; perform error-correction coding on the first data blocks to generate first coded data blocks including parity data blocks such that the first coded data blocks satisfy a first code rate; remove the known information data bits from the first coded data blocks to generate second coded data blocks, the second coded data blocks satisfying a second code rate different from the first code rate; and modulate the second coded data blocks using a modulation scheme to generate a modulated signal, which is then transmitted. A number of the known information data bits depends on a number of the information data bits such that the first code rate is fixed regardless of the number of the information data bits.

Abstract: A transmission method includes encoding processing that generates an encoded block, modulation processing that generates symbols from the encoded block, phase change processing that changes the phase of the symbols, and transmission processing that arranges the symbols in data carriers and transmits the symbols. The transmission processing configures a frame by arranging symbol groups in order in the frequency direction and transmits the frame. The symbol groups each include a symbol generated from a first encoded block and a symbol generated from a second encoded block. The phase change processing includes changing the phase of symbols the same symbol group using the same phase change value.
