摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for efficiently transmitting uplink signals to a base station using shared antennas. A first device may be in communications with a base station using local antennas and may identify a second device having auxiliary antennas available for transmitting uplink signals to the base station. Because the local antennas and auxiliary antennas may have different capabilities (e.g., due to different power or other constraints), the first device may generate first uplink signals for transmission using the local antennas differently from second uplink signals for transmission using the auxiliary antennas. The first device may transmit the first uplink signals to the base station using the local antennas and transmit the second uplink signals to the second device for transmission to the base station using the auxiliary antennas based on different configurations.

A wireless device, such as a user equipment (UE), may receive, via a first control resource set (CORESET) of a plurality of CORESETs monitored by the UE, a first downlink grant that schedules a downlink data transmission to the UE. The UE may receive the downlink data transmission from a first transmission reception point (TRP) of a plurality of TRPs and transmit feedback information for the downlink data transmission to the first TRP based at least in part on the first TRP being associated with the first CORESET or the first downlink grant being received via the first CORESET.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some cases, a user equipment (UE) may use multiple antenna ports to communicate with multiple transmission/reception points (TRPs), and each antenna port may correspond to a spatial dimension along which wireless communications may be transmitted. The UE may transmit a first sounding reference signal (SRS) to a serving TRP to aid the serving TRP in determining a subset of spatial dimensions available to the UE along which to transmit downlink transmissions. Upon receiving a downlink transmission from the serving TRP along the subset of spatial dimensions as determined by the serving TRP, the UE may transmit a second SRS to a neighboring TRP to indicate the subset of spatial dimensions. The neighboring TRP avoid transmitting downlink transmissions to the UE or to other UEs along the subset of spatial dimensions, thereby mitigating interference along the subset of spatial dimensions.

A wireless device such as a user equipment (UE) may identify a codebook matrix having a number of rows equal to a first number and a number of columns equal to a second number, the first number equal to a number of UEs supported for communication with a base station, and the second number equal to a sequence length of a set of UE specific signature sequences, where the rows of the codebook matrix comprise a Welch bound equality (WBE) achieving vector set. The UE may identify a UE specific signature sequence based at least in part on a mapping between an identifier associated with the UE to one or more rows of the codebook matrix, and communicate with the base station based at least in part on the UE specific signature sequence.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for identifying a file having a set of packets that are configured to be processed together. The base station may determine a segmentation scheme for the file based on a size of the file and identify a batch of assignments for communicating the file via a batch of transmissions based on the segmentation scheme. The base station may communicate the file via the batch of transmissions with a user equipment (UE) during the batch of assignments. Additional techniques are described herein for a UE to identify that the UE is storing a file in a buffer at the UE. The UE may transmit an indication to the base station that the buffer includes the file. In some cases, the UE may indicate a size of the file.

In some aspects, a network controller may determine a first set of spreading sequences and a second set of spreading sequences for non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) communication, wherein the first set of spreading sequences is different than the second set of spreading sequences; and configure a first cell to use the first set of spreading sequences and a second cell to use the second set of spreading sequences; or configure the first set of spreading sequences to be used for first user equipment associated with a cell center of the first cell and the second set of spreading sequences to be used for second user equipment associated with a cell edge of the first cell or the second cell. 摘要: Some wireless communication systems may attempt to balance frequent transmission opportunities (e.g., where the frequency of the opportunities may refer to gaps in the time domain, frequency domain, etc.) with a desire for communication reliability and/or interference diversity. In accordance with the described techniques, some such systems may apportion communicating devices into groups, where resources are strategically assigned to each group so as to reduce latency without significantly compromising communication reliability or interference diversity (e.g., by allowing a membership of the groups to cycle through all possible combinations before repeating). Such techniques may support delay-sensitive communications, channel sounding procedures, or other similar types of transmissions. Resources may be allocated based on a scheduling parameter transmitted to a user equipment (UE), which may implicitly or explicitly indicate a plurality of resource offsets to the UE.

摘要: Methods, systems, devices, and apparatuses for wireless communication are disclosed. In one aspect, a base station multiplexes services on shared channel resources with preemption. The base station may send one or more control messages with multi-carrier preemption information to user equipment (UE) devices which may be affected by the preemption. The preemption information may relate to a primary component carrier and one or more secondary component carriers designated for the UEs. In some aspects, the control message may comprise an indication of the availability of preemption information for each carrier in a plurality of carriers and may also include variable-size preemption information which is identifiable to the plurality carriers based on the subset of carriers for which preemption information is indicated as available. UEs may adjust the manner in which they send or receive a data transmission based on the preemption information. Additional aspects, embodiments, and features are described and claimed.

A user equipment (UE) capable of supporting multiple antenna ports may determine that some combinations of antenna ports can be used simultaneously. The UE may make this determination by evaluating the relationships between the physical antennas and the transmit chains included in the UE. Upon determining that the combinations of antenna ports can be used simultaneously, the UE may send a message to a base station. The message may indicate whether two or more antenna ports can be used at the same time. The UE may communicate simultaneously over one or more antenna ports based on the scheduling information from the base station which takes into account the ability of the combination of antenna ports to be used concurrently.

Data generated from at least one of existing traffic and networking operations caused by existing traffic of the wireless communication device may be monitored to obtain information related to connectivity quality. One or more values of one or more metrics may be determined using the obtained information. The quality of end-to-end connectivity for the wireless communication device may be assessed using the value(s) of the metric(s). Based at least in part on a result of the assessment, an action may be performed to improve connectivity quality for the wireless communication.
