摘要: A fixer device for a color thermal printer has at least a yellow fixing ultraviolet lamp and an inverter. The inverter controls ray emitting intensity of the yellow fixing lamp in accordance with a lamp control value after a thermal recording image is effected to a thermosensitive recording sheet. The yellow fixing lamp applies ultraviolet rays to the recording sheet for fixation. The fixer device includes an irradiance sensor which measures irradiance of the yellow fixing lamp. Difference data is calculated as a difference between target irradiance data and data of the measured irradiance from the irradiance sensor. An irradiance difference multiplier multiplies the irradiance difference data by a gain value, to determine a correcting value. An integrator adds the correcting value to the lamp control value to correct the lamp control value, the inverter controlling the ray emitting intensity of the yellow fixing lamp in accordance with the corrected lamp control value. The gain value is also adjusted in accordance with a number of times the yellow fixing lamp is used.

摘要: A first metallization layer is locally formed on the surface of a semiconductor substrate thereby leaving portions of the semiconductor substrate's surface exposed. A first silicon oxide layer is then formed in such a manner that it covers the exposed portions of the semiconductor substrate's surface and the first metallization layer. This is followed by the formation of an HMDS molecular layer on the first silicon oxide layer. Then, a second silicon oxide is formed on the molecular layer by means of a CVD process utilizing the chemical reaction of ozone with TEOS. Finally, a second metallization layer is locally formed on the second silicon oxide layer.

摘要: An infrared detector is capable of preventing faulty detection attributable to stray infrared rays. The infrared detector comprises an outer cylinder having an inner surface coated with a black film, an inner cylinder having an outer surface coated with a multilayer film capable of suppressing reflection, and an infrared sensing element mounted on the inner cylinder. The combined effect of the black film and the multilayer film prevents the incidence of stray infrared rays, namely, infrared rays scattered by multiple reflection, at the infrared sensing element. The infrared detector can be provided with a plurality of infrared sensing elements to detect infrared rays of frequencies in different frequency bands by providing band-pass filters each having an optical aperture in combination respectively with the infrared sensing elements.

摘要: A sheet-supplying device has a sheet-accommodating tray, a raising/lowering unit, a first position sensor, a second position sensor, a controlling unit. The raising/lowering unit raises and lowers the sheet-accommodating tray substantially. The first position sensor detects a first position indicating a position in the stacked direction of one end portion of a topmost sheet stacked in the sheet-accommodating tray. The second position sensor detects a second position indicating a position in the stacked direction of another end portion of the topmost sheet. The controlling unit controls the raising/lowering unit to raise or lower the sheet-accommodating tray based on both the first position detected by the first position sensor and the second position detected by the second position sensor so that one end of the topmost sheet in the stacked status is positioned at a prescribed position in the stacked direction.
