    Abstract: In this vortex flowmeter provided with a vortex generator and a flow rate measuring unit the flow rate measurement unit includes a piezoelectric element and a piezoelectric element case. The piezoelectric element case includes: a fitted part fitted in the body case; a pressure receiving part protruding out from a distal end face of the fitted part and placed in a body passage; a hollow portion formed along the axial direction of the piezoelectric element case in the fitted part to separate the fitted part and the pressure receiving part; and a slit formed inside of the pressure receiving part and configured to accommodate the piezoelectric element.

    Abstract: The flow path switching valve includes (a) a valve body having an open flow path which opens on a predetermined surface over a predetermined length in a predetermined direction, (b) a main body having a plurality of ports which open on a facing surface facing the predetermined surface at an interval shorter than the predetermined length in the predetermined direction, and a plurality of connection flow paths connected to the plurality of ports, (c) plate springs attached on both ends of the valve body in the predetermined direction so as to support the valve body such that a predetermined gap is formed between the predetermined surface and the facing surface, the plate springs applying elastic force onto the valve body according to a movement amount of the valve body in the predetermined direction, and (d) an actuator which drives the valve body back and forth in the predetermined direction.

    Abstract: A fluid control valve includes a multi-stage piston actuator unit with first piston and second pistons coaxially and slidably arranged therein and a valve unit provided with an inlet port for inflow of a control fluid and an outlet port for outflow of the control fluid. The first and second pistons are slidable in a sliding direction perpendicular to an imaginary line connecting the center of the inlet port and the center of the outlet port. The multi-stage piston actuator unit has a smaller thickness in a direction perpendicular to the imaginary line and perpendicular to the sliding direction than the thickness of the valve unit in the direction perpendicular to the imaginary line and perpendicular to the sliding direction. The first and second pistons have either an elliptic or oval cross-section taken perpendicular to the sliding direction, the cross-section having a long axis parallel to the imaginary line.

    Abstract: A fluid control valve for controlling high-temperature fluid includes: a valve body including a valve chamber communicating with first and second flow passages, and a valve seat provided in the valve chamber; a metal diaphragm that contacts with and separates from the valve seat; a stem that moves the metal diaphragm up and down; and an actuator that drives the stem. The first flow passage includes a first orifice having a diameter set to 50% or less of a diameter of the second flow passage. Alternatively, the second flow passage includes a second orifice having a diameter set to 50% or less of the diameter of the second flow passage. The diameter of the second flow passage is calculated by converting a cylindrical flow passage area defined between the valve seat and the metal diaphragm when separated from the valve seat into a diameter of a circular flow passage.

    Abstract: A blister packaging machine includes: a pocket portion forming unit that forms a pocket portion having a bottom portion and a side portion, in a belt-like container film, and adjusts balance between a thickness of the bottom portion and a thickness of the side portion; an illumination device that is disposed on a downstream side of the pocket portion forming unit, and irradiates the pocket portion with an electromagnetic radiation; an imaging device that is disposed on a side opposite to the illumination device across the container film, and obtains transmitted image data based on the electromagnetic radiation transmitted through the pocket portion; a side portion state detector that detects a state of the thickness of the side portion based on the transmitted image data; and a controller that controls an operation of the pocket portion forming unit.

    Abstract: A blister sheet includes a container film including pockets receiving a content, and a cover film mounted to the container film to close the pockets. The container and the cover film are made of synthetic resins. The cover film is thinner than the container film. One pair of cuts formed for each pocket passes through the container and the cover film and extends to the pocket such that each pocket is placed between the cuts. The container and the cover film are broken from the one pair of cuts toward the pocket. A cutting slit or perforation is formed in the container film to allow for separation of the blister sheet into sheet pieces. The cutting slit or perforation is extended to intersect with the cut and a portion of the cutting slit or perforation that intersects with the cut passes through the container and the cover film.
