Abstract:
A high pressure water cleaner with detachable water tank includes a water cleaner main unit having an internal hydraulic pump, a top receptacle and a feed water connector in the receptacle in communication with the hydraulic pump, and a water tank detachably insertable into the receptacle and lockable to the receptacle by a movable lock.
Abstract:
A lawn and garden sprayer system having a container and a spray wand fluidly connected to the container is provided. The spray wand includes a wand housing that has a slot formed in one side thereof that is configured to engage a lug formed on one side of the container for purposes of stowing the wand during shipping and when not in use. A communications card assembly is detachably connected between the container and spray wand during shipment and prior to its first use. The hose includes a coupler end that engaged a cap on the container and facilitates creation of a fluid circuit between the fluid contents in the container and the wand.
Abstract:
The invention refers to a spray pump device for spraying a liquid operated by a memory shape element. The spraying device is provided with a memory shape alloy wire with electrical resistivity, that is able to generate heat that increases its temperature so that due to memory shape property, the wire shrinks when current is applied. This shrinking permits the wire to activate a pump that atomizes a volatile substance.
Abstract:
A paint sprayer is configured for use with a paint container. The sprayer includes a housing having an air inlet and a nozzle located on the housing. Movable grip members are supported on the housing. The grip members are located in a circular array with an inner diameter that is greater than the outer diameter of the paint container. A ring extends circumferentially about the circular array of grip members, and is supported on the housing for rotation relative to the housing. When the ring rotates relative to the housing, it moves the grip members to a condition in which the inner diameter of the circular array is not greater than the outer diameter of the paint container.
Abstract:
Various embodiments provide a bicycle misting system or apparatus. Example embodiments include a manual (e.g., trigger-activated) or automated (e.g., valve-activated) system that is sell-contained, small, and light-weight. Various embodiments improve safety, allow convenient interchangeability of the fluid reservoir, and enable easy installation on a bicycle with or without a mounting system on the bicycle itself. Embodiments also allow the rider to select a variety of spray types, stream, spray, or mist depending on the intended use or amount of fluid desired for each release. The various embodiments provide for an improved cooling fluid delivery system of design simplicity, ease of use, and interchangeability that allows a cyclist an evaporative cooling concept safely, efficiently and conveniently, while riding in conditions of elevated or extreme temperatures.
Abstract:
A trigger sprayer has a housing, a piston bore within the housing, and a piston reciprocally mounted with the piston bore. The housing further includes a flow passage through which liquid passes from a passage inlet to a passage outlet. An actuator is operable to reciprocate the piston within the piston bore between a vacuum stroke creating reduced pressure in the piston bore and a compression stroke creating increased pressure in the piston bore. A valve unit within the flow passage controls the flow of liquid through the flow passage upon operation of the actuator. The valve unit further comprises a check valve and priming valve. The check valve is shaped in a frusto-conical manner and is assembled into the check valve seat which is not part of the housing but is a separate component. The sprayer has a free spinning threaded type closure for mounting the sprayer to a container, the closure formed separately from and secured to said housing.
Abstract:
A method of training a dog to track a scent, by: placing an odor-emitting substance in a solution in a pressurized fluid reservoir; carrying the pressurized fluid reservoir along a path; spraying the solution on the ground at intervals along the path by activating a hand-held spray release valve positioned mid-way along each of a pair of fluid supply lines extending from the pressurized fluid reservoir, wherein there is a sprayer at the ends of each of the fluid supply lines, and wherein one sprayer is attached to the person's left footwear and the other sprayer is attached to the person's right footwear; and; and training a dog to follow the path by having the dog detect the locations where the odor-emitting solution was sprayed on the ground.
Abstract:
The present disclosure generally relates to a spray gun for spraying fluid materials such as paints, stains, and the like, and more specifically, but not by limitation, to a fluid container connection for a spray gun. In one example, a sprayer is provided and includes a housing and a fluid container cover attached to the housing. The fluid container cover is configured to be removably coupled to a fluid container. The fluid container cover comprises a portion having a first side facing the fluid container and second side facing a direction generally opposite the first side. At least one orifice is formed through the portion between the first side and the second side. The fluid container includes at least one connection mechanism configured to be received by the at least one orifice and engage the second side of the portion of the fluid container cover.
Abstract:
An indexing nozzle assembly for a trigger sprayer is comprised of a nozzle base that is attachable to a sprayer housing of the trigger sprayer, a cap that is mounted for rotation on the nozzle base, and a foaming tube that is mounted for linear reciprocating movement on the cap. Rotation of the cap on the nozzle base changes liquid discharge from the trigger sprayer between an off condition and at least a spray condition. In the spray condition of the nozzle cap, the foaming tube can be manually pulled and extended from the nozzle cap. With the foaming tube extended from the nozzle cap, the liquid discharge from the nozzle assembly in a spray pattern comes into contact with an interior surface of the tube and generates a foam discharge from the nozzle assembly.
Abstract:
A connecting rod for coupling to a mating socket or to a coupler that includes a shaft having a longitudinal axis, a first end, and a second end, at least one of the first and second ends of the shaft having a substantially convex end face that is preferably arcuate or hemispherical in shape; and a spline formed on at least one of the first and second ends of the shaft, the spline having at least two projections that extend from the shaft to be substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the shaft, the projections contoured to accommodate universal movement of the shaft relative to the socket. The spline projections may be contoured to taper into the convex or hemispherical end face of the shaft.
