    Abstract: A heat management system for air-cooled engines suitable to power yard care equipment or vehicles. The system may generally comprise an engine, a blower configured to blow ambient cooling air across the engine, and an exhaust system comprising an exhaust header and a muffler. The exhaust header has an inlet end which receives heated exhaust gas from the engine and an outlet end fluidly coupled to the muffler. An air control baffle is configured to redirect a portion of the cooling air from the blower towards the exhaust header and the muffler to enhance cooling the exhaust system. The system may further include an outermost protective shield exposed to equipment operators and an inner heat barrier or shield located between the muffler and protective shield. The system is designed to ameliorate both radiative and convective sources of heat transfer to maintain the protective shield at temperatures below established industry standards.

    Abstract: A standby generator includes a standby generator enclosure having a partition wall separating a first end from an opposite second end of the enclosure, one or more airflow openings, and a first air duct and a second air duct each coupled to at least one of the one or more airflow openings. An engine mounts in the enclosure toward the first end from the partition wall, and an alternator driven by the engine mounts in the enclosure toward the second end from the partition wall. The engine includes an engine cooling fan that faces the first end to drive engine cooling air received from the first air duct toward the first end, and the alternator includes an alternator cooling fan that faces the second end to drive alternator cooling air received from the second air duct toward the second end.

    Abstract: There is provided a generator system for generating power and heat. The system comprises an engine, an electrical power generator driven by the engine, a radiator for cooling engine coolant, a heater powered by the electrical power generator, and an airflow generation device driven by the engine. The heater has an airflow outlet and an airflow inlet. The airflow generation device has an air intake inlet and an air exhaust outlet. The system further comprises a first conduit directing airflow through the radiator into the air intake inlet of the airflow generation device. The system also includes a second conduit directing airflow from the air exhaust outlet of the airflow generation device to the airflow inlet of the heater. The airflow generation device may be a centrifugal fan that draws air through the radiator and pushes the air through the heater.

The controller may be configured to receive temperature data from the actuator temperature sensor. The temperature data may include information relating to an actuator temperature of the actuator. The controller may be configured to compare the actuator temperature with a temperature threshold associated with the actuator, and control the cooling fan to adjust the actuator temperature based on determining that the actuator temperature satisfies the temperature threshold.

    Abstract: Present disclosure relates to air cooling chamber assembly. The air cooling chamber assembly includes: an air intake duct receiving ambient air outside of an internal combustion engine, an air cooling chamber cooling the ambient air received from the air intake duct to generate cooled air, and an air output duct providing the cooled air generated from the air cooling chamber to the internal combustion engine. The air cooling chamber assembly is connected to engine air intake of the internal combustion engine to cool the ambient air to generate the cooled air prior to entering the internal combustion engine, and to provide the cooled air generated to engine air intake of the internal combustion engine. The cooled air from air cooling chamber contains increased amount of oxygen molecules, and increased amount of oxygen molecules in the cooled air improves fuel efficiency and reduces greenhouse gas emission of the internal combustion engine.

    Abstract: An exhaust gas guiding device includes an exhaust passageway, an exhaust pipe and an exhaust cover. The exhaust passageway is formed in a bonnet of the construction machine to connect an engine room with an exterior of the construction machine. The exhaust pipe is connected to the exhaust passageway. The exhaust cover is installed at the exhaust passageway to protrude from the bonnet to guide the exhaust gas to the exterior. The exhaust cover having a cylindrical shape connected to the exhaust passageway includes a cover body and an exhaust portion. The exhaust portion is slantly connected to the cover body to guide the exhaust gas in an extending direction of the exhaust portion. The exhaust pipe is positioned adjacent to an inner surface of the cover body. The exhaust pipe has a central axis away from a central axis of the exhaust cover.
