摘要： An apparatus for flying a flying body imitating a raptor such as a hawk and an eagle to scare birds such as doves and crows to inhibit these birds from approaching. Concretely, the flying body is mounted to a hanging wire is adjusted in rotational speed and paying-out amount whereby a highly varying flying mode is realized, and a guide rail is constructed in a desired configuration to permit the flying body to be mounted to a self-propelled device housed in the guide rail or to a drive cable whereby the flying body is made to fly along the guide rail. Further, a power source of the apparatus is controlled by a timer or an illumination sensor, which acts to measure outdoor illumination, to enable the flying body to fly in conformity with a period of time, in which birds are active, so that the apparatus is made reasonable. In addition, a sensor is installed which senses approaching birds, and a sensing signal by the sensor permits the flying body to fly, so that it is possible to achieve power saving.

摘要： A cylindrical personal protection device is disclosed having an aerosol cylinder with a nozzle, a light and a removable safety cap. In an embodiment with dual cylinders, the cylinders contain a deterrent spray and a glowing liquid. A trigger proximate the cylinders expells the contents of the cylinders where they are mixed prior to explusion. A body section has a battery receiving area and an alarm. The electronics connect the battery receiving area, trigger, alarm and light. The electronics activates the light and alarm, in response to activation of the trigger, causing them to pulse simultaneously. The cylinders and the body portion are removably connected to one another. A safety lid prevents activation of the trigger.

摘要： A personal security alarm in the form of a wearable case containing an sonic alarm transducer, a capacitor power supply, and a manually operable trigger for completing an electrical circuit between the power supply and the alarm transducer to operate the transducer by discharging the power supply. An oscillator is electrically connected between the power supply and the alarm transducer when the trigger operates, to output a variable frequency signal. An amplifier electrically connected between the oscillator and the alarm transducer amplifies the tone signal and drives the alarm transducer with the amplified signal. The oscillator can be programmed with a predefined variable frequency signal. A charger can be coupled through the case to charge the capacitor power supply without removing the power supply from the case. If the alarm is triggered, a catch mechanism must be released to deactivate the sonic alarm prior to completion of a preset interval, thus thwarting potential deactivation of the alarm, should an attacker seize control of it.

摘要： This invention pertains to a hand held, thumb actuated irritant dispenser shaped like a night stick. The irritant dispenser comprises a cylindrical handle which is threadably affixed to a disposable cartridge containing a canister of pepper spray. The canister includes a nozzle which is oriented so that the pepper spray is dispensed along the longitudinal axis of the canister. An annular thumbar is electrically connected to a battery and a solenoid which selectively actuates the canister to dispense the pepper spray. A lock is included forming a part of the electrical circuit which helps increase the safety of the device around children.

摘要： A process is disclosed for protecting watercraft against theft in an area delimited in space, for example a harbor, using a stationary transmitting/receiving unit and an on-board transmitting/receiving unit. When interrogated by the stationary unit, the on-board unit emits a characteristic identification signal. The identification signal contains a basic key that identifies the watercraft and the identification signals of all watercraft in the harbor are stored in a central computer. To legitimize use of the watercraft, a legitimization key is input into a central computer before departure. The central computer ascertains whether the use of the watercraft is legitimate based on the interrogation carried out by the stationary transmitting/receiving unit and, if required, triggers an alarm and information program.

摘要： An anti-theft box displays goods that are attractive by theft in shops and department stores. The anti-theft box includes a cassette (10) having a lid (11). An element is provided on or in the anti-theft box for wireless activation of an alarm device if the anti-theft box is carried through an exit of a shop or a department store. A lock mechanism is provided on the inside of the lid, which includes a lock slide (15) provided with lock bolts (16), which can be displaced in plane parallel fashion in order to bring the lock bolts into and out of locking engagement with the cassette (10). A latch mechanism (36) is provided to latch, in an engaged position thereof, the lock side with the lock bolts in the engaged position and can be actuated to a disengaged position by means of a special tool to allow displacement of the lock bolts from the engaged position.
