Abstract: Virtual resources may be provisioned in a manner that is aware of, and respects, underlying implementation resource boundaries. A customer of the virtual resource provider may specify that particular virtual resources are to be implemented with implementation resources that are dedicated to the customer. Dedicating an implementation resource to a particular customer of a virtual resource provider may establish one or more information barriers between the particular customer and other customers of the virtual resource provider. Implementation resources may require transition procedures, including custom transition procedures, to enter and exit dedicated implementation resource pools. Costs corresponding to active and inactive implementation resources in a dedicated pools associated with a particular customer may be accounted for, and presented to, the customer in a variety of ways including explicit, adjusted per customer and adjusted per type of virtual resource and/or implementation resource.

Abstract: A system receives an authentication request from a requestor system for a token to access one or more computing resources associated with a computing resource service provider. The system analyzes information included with the authentication request and, based on the information included with the authentication request, selects an authentication provider from a plurality of authentication providers without additional input from the requestor system. The requestor system is redirected to the selected authentication provider such that the token is provided in response to the authentication request. The requestor system then presents the token to obtain an identity assertion that can be used to access the one or more computing resources.

Abstract: This disclosure describes a container management tool of a container management service of a service provider network that operates a first container in a network mode associated with a software generated namespace generated by the container management tool. The container management tool determines a location of the software generated namespace and adds a link to a desired, e.g., existing application network namespace to the software generated namespace. The container management tool, using an application namespace creation script, generates a name for the desired application network namespace. The service provider network executes one or more first applications in the first container, wherein executing the one or more first applications in the first container comprises the first container accessing the software generated namespace and following the link to the desired application network namespace.

Abstract: Described herein is a neural network accelerator (NNA) with reconfigurable memory resources for forming a set of local memory buffers comprising at least one activation buffer, at least one weight buffer, and at least one output buffer. The NNA supports a plurality of predefined memory configurations that are optimized for maximizing throughput and reducing overall power consumption in different types of neural networks. The memory configurations differ with respect to at least one of a total amount of activation, weight, or output buffer memory, or a total number of activation, weight, or output buffers. Depending on which type of neural network is being executed and the memory behavior of the specific neural network, a memory configuration can be selected accordingly.

Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments related to an entitlement service aggregation layer. In one embodiment, a request to enable or disable an entitlement for a device is received from a first system operated by or on behalf of a communication service provider (CSP). The device is identified by a unique device hardware identifier. A manufacturer of the device is identified based at least in part on the unique device hardware identifier. A second system operated by or on behalf of the manufacturer of the device is identified. The request to enable or disable the entitlement is sent to the second system. A result associated with the request is provided to the first system.

Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments related to a device registry and a device ordering workflow. In one embodiment, data are received from a plurality of manufacturer systems indicating device capabilities supported by a plurality of particular devices identified by a respective unique device hardware identifier. The data indicating the device capabilities are stored in a transaction ledger. Data are received from a plurality of communication service providers (CSP) indicating device entitlements for a set of the plurality of particular devices that have been activated on a respective radio-based network. The data indicating the device entitlements are stored in the transaction ledger.
