    Abstract: A two part modelling aid for connection to a dental implant component including a hollow base part and a hollow angled part, each including a tubular side wall extending between apical and coronal ends. The base part side wall includes an anti-rotation section including a non-circular symmetric cross-section in a plane perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the base part. The angled part side wall forms an apical portion that extends along a first axis and is sized and shaped to form a friction fit with the base part, and a coronal portion extending along a second axis non-coaxial to the first axis. When connected, a closed channel is formed extending from the base part to the angled part, and the first axis of the apical portion is coaxial to the longitudinal axis of the base part and the anti-rotation section is exposed on a base part surface.

    Abstract: A torque wrench as a ratchet instrument for medical technology, including receiving opening which has head region, neck region adjoining head region, rod-shaped actuating lever fastened to neck region for application of torque to the head region, and enclosure forming receiving opening of head region. Furthermore, torque wrench includes spring clip and latching lug formed thereon. The latching lug in rest position of latching lug protrudes into receiving opening and in entraining portion of latching lug is intended to interact with counterpart surface of insertion instrument inserted into enclosure during rotation in tightening direction of actuating lever in entraining position. The latching lug is intended to move into release position during rotation contrary to tightening direction against force of spring clip, in order to provide free running between head region and insertion instrument. The enclosure has break extending over entire cross-section of enclosure and forms spring clip.

    Abstract: A dental implant with an implant extension which are formed along a longitudinal axis: the dental implant has an apical end, a coronal end and a section for receiving; securing an abutment; the implant extension is formed in one piece with the implant; extends away from an end face of the apical end along the longitudinal axis, the implant extension having a first section along the longitudinal axis with an annular constriction which is directly connected to the end face of the apical end of the implant; the implant breaks off from the implant extension at the constriction, along the longitudinal axis following the first section, wherein the second section, splined shaft section being further away from the implant than the first section, perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, an outer annular groove being designed to hold the implant extension by clamping the groove in the direction of the longitudinal axis.
