    摘要: A photoimaging material which comprises a support and a photoimaging layer formed on the support. The photoimaging layer comprises microcapsules and a reducing agent present outside the microcapsules. The microcapsules contain a leuco dye capable of oxidative color formation, a photooxidizing agent and an organosulfur antioxidant. The reducing agent is 2,2′-methylenebis(4-methyl-6-t-butylphenol) or 2,2′-methylenebis(4-ethyl-6-t-butylphenol). The photoimaging material is capable of thermal image fixing based on a method of forming color by radical oxidation of various leuco dyes to the corresponding dyes with a photooxidizing agent. The photoimaging material is not prone to background coloring (fogging) during storage under dark or light conditions after image fixing, and does not foul the inside of the apparatus during thermal image fixing.

    摘要: An anhydrous crystal of a compound represented by the formula: R2—CH2CONH—R1 wherein R1 represents a substituted or non-substituted pyridyl group or substituted or non-substituted phenyl group and R2 represents a substituted or non-substituted 2-oxo-1-pyrrolidinyl group, characterized in that said crystal is substantially free from hygroscopicity. For example, by drying a hydrous crystal of said compound at a temperature of 80° C. or above under reduced pressure, an anhydrous crystal is provided that exhibits a weight increase of 1% or less when stored under the relative humidity of 83% at the temperature of 25° C. for 30 days. By using the anhydrous crystal for the manufacture of a medicament comprising the compound as an active ingredient, a product with a constant content of the active ingredient can be obtained.

    摘要: A semitransparent spherical surface having as its center O, a fixed point in an object being displayed on a screen of a tablet, is generated so as to enclose the object. Then, three degrees of freedom for orientation are determined by pen-manipulation on the spherical surface. That is, a plurality of points (P0-P3) on the spherical surface are specified in a predetermined order. Points P0 and P1 specify two polar surface coordinate positions on the spherical surface for rotation of the object in a polar coordinate system and simultaneously specify a rotation axis OP1 connecting the center O to point P1. Then a rotation angle .alpha. about this axis OP1 is specified by the specification of points P2 and P3. Then, calculations for rotating the object to the specified orientation are performed, and the rotated object is displayed. According to this method, the object in three-dimensional space can be rotated to an arbitrary orientation in a desired manner.

    摘要: An ultrasonic wave nebulizer for converting water or liquid to mist has a disc-shaped piezoelectric vibrator (TD) which has a pair of surfaces one of which is defined as an operation surface. A thin plate (21) having a plurality of small holes or mesh is located close to the operation surface so that a gap or a thin water or liquid film is defined between the mesh and the operation surface. The gap spacing is smaller than the diameter of a water drop which is composed by surface tension of water where no mesh is located. Upon excitation of the vibrator with high frequency power, the water film is converted to mist. The exciting frequency is almost the same as the resonant frequency of the vibrator. The high frequency power is intermittent having duty ratio (D.sub.ON /D) in the range from 10% to 70% so that instantaneous exciting power is high to facilitate water to mist conversion while average power is low to keep temperature at the operation surface low. The present nebulizer has many applications, including medical inhaler, a toy which generates pseudo smoke, etc. (FIG. 3)

    摘要: A valve assembly, for a multi-cylinder swash plate type compressor, which includes a gasket means made of a metallic plate and coated, on both faces thereof, with a resilient film, such as a rubber film. The gasket means comprises an outermost, an intermediate, and an innermost annular portion for applying a hermetic seal effect to low and high pressure refrigerant chambers in the compressor.
