A method for performing a non-access stratum (NAS) signaling process by means of a terminal in a wireless communication system according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a step of receiving a first message that includes information indicating a network failure from a network node of a first network; a step of starting a timer relating to a network selection; and a step of selecting a second network from among network candidates excluding the first network during the operation of the timer relating to a network selection.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for processing paging from a server managing mobility in a mobile communication network. The method comprises: receiving from a network node a notification with respect to downlink data to be relayed to user equipment; transmitting a paging signal with respect to the user equipment to one or more base stations; receiving a context request with respect to the user equipment from a different server; recognizing that the paging will fail if the context request with respect to the terminal is received before receiving a reply to the paging; relaying a context reply to the different server depending on the recognition; and transmitting a processing request message with respect to the downlink data to the network node.
Abstract:
An embodiment of the present invention relates to a method for supporting a voice service for a network terminal in a wireless communication system. The method includes transmitting an update location request (ULR) message to a home subscriber server (HSS) by a serving node, wherein if the serving node may not evaluate an IP multimedia subsystem (IMS) voice over PS session-supported indication value for the terminal, the ULR has no information on homogeneous support of IMS voice in a PS session.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. More particularly, disclosed are a network-initiated control method and an apparatus for providing a proximity service (ProSe). A method for supporting ProSe between a plurality of terminals at a network node of a wireless communication system according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a step of acquiring base ProSe information from one or more of the plurality of terminals or from one or more of other network nodes; a step of allowing the network node to detect whether ProSe is enabled between the plurality of terminals based on the acquired base ProSe information; and a step of transmitting information indicating whether ProSe is allowed or not to one or more of the plurality of terminals.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system, and more particularly, to a method and device for providing a proximity service. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the method for providing a proximity service (ProSe) for user equipment in a wireless communication system may include: transmitting ProSe capability related information on the user equipment to a network node; receiving information on the provision of a ProSe related network from the network node; determining the ProSe usage of the user equipment based on the ProSe capability related information on the user equipment and/or the received information on the provision of a ProSe related network; and transmitting the determination result of the ProSe usage of the user equipment to the network node.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for enabling a MTC (machine type communication) IWF (interworking function) to perform a trigger request in a wireless communication system. The method includes transferring, to a first serving node, the trigger request and information related to retrying the trigger request which includes information on whether to retry if the transferring of the trigger request fails, wherein if the information on whether to retry indicates retrying, the retrying of the trigger request is assigned to the first serving node.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to direct link management wireless communications. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method performed by a first wireless device in a wireless communication system comprises: allocating a link identifier (ID) to a second wireless device for a link between the first wireless device and the second wireless device; generating a data unit from one or more logical channels associated with the link ID; transmitting, to the second wireless device, sidelink control information (SCI) scheduling the data unit, wherein the SCI includes at least part of the link ID; and transmitting, to the second wireless device, the data unit.
Abstract:
It is disclosed a method for managing a PDU session in a wireless communication system and an apparatus for supporting the same. Particularly, a method for performing handover of a User Equipment (UE) performed by a source Radio Access Network (RAN) that includes a processor, a memory and a communication module in a wireless communication system may include determining to initiate handover to a target RAN; and transmitting a Handover Required message to a source Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF), and the handover is a handover in a case that there is no interface between the RANs or AMF change is required, and the Handover Required message includes a PDU session Identifier (ID) of an activated Protocol Data Unit (PDU) session.
Abstract:
A disclosure of the present specification provides a method performed by a network node that manages mobility in a first public land mobile network (PLMN). The network node may receive an access request message of a terminal from a base station in the first PLMN. The terminal may be a terminal having joined a second PLMN. On the basis of occurrence of a failure in the second PLMN, the network node may determine whether to allow the terminal to roam to the first PLMN.
Abstract:
Provided are a method and device for efficient public land mobile network (PLMN) selection upon authentication failure for each network slice in a roaming network. A user equipment (UE) receives a registration rejection message from an access and mobility management function (AMF) of a first PLMN. The registration rejection message includes rejected network slice selection assistance information (NSSAI) including first single NSSAI (S-NSSAI) and cause value #62 for the rejected NSSAI. The UE: generates second requested NSSAI including second S-NSSAI on the basis that i) the UE does not have allowed NSSAI and configured NSSAI, and ii) default configured NSSAI includes the second S-NSSAI that is not included in the rejected NSSAI and corresponds to a network slice of which the UE requests registration; and transmits a second registration request message including the second requested NSSAI to the AMF of the first PLMN.
