Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first wireless device may identify a translational or rotational misalignment between a first antenna array of the first wireless device and a second antenna array of a second wireless device that is in line-of-sight (LoS) wireless communication with the first wireless device via a channel. The first wireless device may update a channel matrix for the channel based on the translational or rotational misalignment, where the first wireless device may update the channel matrix with one or more beam steering metrics of the first antenna array so as to improve a beam alignment between the first antenna array and the second antenna array. The first wireless device may communicate with the second wireless device in accordance with the updated channel matrix.

An example method for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a positioning reference signal in a time slot, wherein the positioning reference signal spans a first frequency bandwidth, transmitting a signal in a second frequency bandwidth during the time slot, wherein the second frequency bandwidth includes frequencies within the first frequency bandwidth, and processing the positioning reference signal received in the first frequency bandwidth excluding the frequencies in the second frequency bandwidth.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to downlink (DL) transmissions using various powers and assigning frequency resources based on the powers. An example base station may transmit, to a first user equipment (UE), an indication of a first transmit (Tx) power for one or more first DL transmissions to a first group of a plurality of groups. The first group may include the first UE. The first Tx power may have a first power level different from a second power level of a second Tx power for one or more second DL transmissions to a second group of the plurality of groups. Then, the base station may transmit, to the first UE, a first DL transmission of the one or more first DL transmissions using the first Tx power. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may modify the contents of a channel state information (CSI) report based on delaying transmission of the CSI report. For example, a base station may transmit one or more downlink messages to the UE from which the UE may generate CSI. The UE may delay transmitting a CSI report that includes the CSI report one or more times, for example, due to a collision between a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) scheme and a time division duplexing (TDD) scheme according to which the UE and the base station communicate. Based on a quantity of occasions that the UE delays transmission of the CSI report, the UE may modify the CSI included in the CSI report and transmit the CSI report including the modified CSI to the base station.

The first UE may use the characteristic(s) of the uplink signal to estimate the baseband of the uplink signal and cancel interference associated with the uplink signal. For example, the first UE may use the baseband signal to estimate the interference and may subtract the estimated interference from a downlink signal received at the first UE.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support mechanisms signaling non-linearities to a victim user equipment (UE) for interference cancellation in a wireless communication system. A victim UE may experience interference from an uplink transmission by an aggressor UE to a base station. The victim UE may obtain a power amplifier model associated with the aggressor UE. The power amplifier may include a non-linearity model of a power amplifier of the aggressor UE causing the interference on the victim UE. The power amplifier model obtained by the victim UE may be dependent on various parameters, such as a transmit power used by the aggressor UE to transmit the uplink transmission causing the interference. Based on the aggressor UE transmit power, the victim UE may select parameters for power amplifier model and may estimate the interference caused by the uplink transmission for interference cancellation.
