    摘要: A control device for controlling the operation of a direct-coupling hydraulic clutch of a hydraulic torque converter for use in an automotive vehicle, wherein the hydraulic torque converter is coupled to a transmission of the automotive vehicle selectable at a plurality of transmission gear ratios. A first fluid line is connected to the direct-coupling hydraulic clutch for supplying same with operating fluid pressure generated by an operating fluid pressure source. A selector valve is arranged across the first fluid line and shiftable to a first or a second position thereof in response to a transmission gear ratio established by the transmission, and is adapted to open the first fluid line when it assumes the first or second position, and to close the first fluid line when it assumes a third position between the first and second positions. A second fluid line branches off from the first fluid line at a location between the selector valve and the direct-coupling hydraulic clutch and communicates with a zone under lower pressure, and across which the selector valve is arranged. The selector valve has a valve operable to close the second fluid line when the first or second position is assumed, and to open the second fluid line to thereby escape operating oil pressure to the zone under lower pressure when the third position is assumed. Preferably, at least one restriction is arranged in the first fluid line at a location between the junction of the first and second fluid lines and the operating fluid pressure source.

    摘要: A control mechanism for a transmission of a vehicle having an internal combustion engine. The transmission includes a torque convertor, a coupling member, a gear-train, and an operation lever having a neutral position and at least three other positions. The torque convertor, the gear-train, and the coupling member are interposed in a system line for transmitting output torque of the engine to a driving wheel of the vehicle. The operation lever is arranged to operate the coupling member to connect the torque convertor to the gear-train by being moved from the neutral position to one of the other positions. The control mechanism includes a coupling-preventing mechanism operatively associated with the coupling member for preventing coupling when a throttle valve of the engine is in an idling position and the operation lever is moved from the neutral position to one of the other positions. The control mechanism also includes a change-over mechanism associated with the coupling-preventing mechanism for selectively changing-over the coupling-preventing mechanism from an operative state preventing coupling to a rest state permitting coupling whereupon the coupling member connects the torque convertor to the gear-train even though the throttle valve is in an idling position.

    摘要: An improved power steering device which has a pinion shaft connected with a steering wheel, a rack rod which is connected with steerable wheels and whose rack is in mesh with the pinion of the pinion shaft in the gear box, a power cylinder for hydraulically actuating the rack rod, and a changeover valve for selectively connecting the first and second hydraulic chambers of the power cylinder with the hydraulic pressure source and the oil reservoir. The pinion shaft is rotatably supported in the oscillating cage which is rotatably mounted on the gear box in a manner such that the axis of the oscillating cage is offset a certain distance from the axis of the pinion shaft, whereby the oscillating cage rotates about its axis when the steering torque is applied to the pinion shaft. The oscillating cage is connected with the changeover valve so that the latter is actuated by the rotary movement of the oscillating cage. With this construction, the changeover valve can be made to respond accurately to the steering torque and at the same time it is possible to reduce the size and simplify the structure of the device.

    摘要: A power steering apparatus of a vehicle having a changeover valve operated in one direction or the other according to the turning of a steering shaft so that a supply oil passage connected to an operational oil pressure source is connected selectively to the left or right chamber of a power cylinder. At least one oil pressure reaction chamber is arranged externally of the changeover valve to be reduced in volume by the operation in either direction of the changeover valve to oppose such operation. A control valve connects the oil pressure reaction chamber to the supply oil passage via a second oil passage. A divergent exhaust oil passage is connected to the second oil passage via a throttle. A control member, such as an exhaust pump, is connected to the exhaust oil passage to produce oil flow therein at a flow rate related to vehicle speed, the control valve including a resilient element acting therein to normally urge the control valve to an open position, excessive oil pressure in the exhaust oil passage acting on the control valve to urge the same to closed position.

    摘要: Power steering apparatus comprising a changeover valve adapted to be operated in one direction or the other by turning of a steering shaft so that a supply oil passage connected to an operational oil pressure source is selectively connected to a right or left chamber of a power cylinder. At least one external oil pressure reaction chamber is arranged to be reduced in volume by the operation in either direction of the changeover valve to resist displacement thereof, the oil pressure reaction chamber being connected through a first oil passage to a control pressure source for delivery of oil at a pressure corresponding to vehicle speed. The first oil passage is connected through a second oil passage to the supply oil passage and a control valve is mounted in the second oil passage to be opened when the pressure within the first oil passage is higher by a predetermined value than the pressure within the supply oil passage. A throttle can be connected in series with the control valve in the second oil passage and a spring loaded relief valve can be provided in a by-pass passage connected in parallel to the second oil passage.

    摘要: A recording apparatus is provided. A recording head performs recording on a recording medium. A conveyance roller conveys the recording medium in a conveyance direction. A conveyance path includes a curved portion which guides the recording medium and curves the recording medium in a downstream of a nip portion between the recording head and the conveyance roller in the conveyance direction. A discharge portion discharges the recording medium. A detecting unit is located apart from the conveyance path. The detecting unit detects the recording medium which deviates from the conveyance path as the recording medium is drawn into and along the conveyance roller near the curved portion of the conveyance path. A controller rotates the conveyance roller backwards by a predetermined amount to convey the recording medium backwards when the recording medium is detected by the detecting unit, and then rotates the conveyance roller forwards by at least the predetermined amount.
