    Abstract: A fastener for securing an automobile floor mat to a carpet laid on a floor within an automobile includes a lower clamping member, an upper clamping member, a hinge portion connecting the upper clamping member and the lower clamping member in a pivotable manner, a supporting portion forwardly protruded from a tip end portion of the lower clamping member, and a guide protrusion forwardly protruded from a tip end portion of the supporting portion and configured to so as to facilitate an insertion of the supporting portion and the lower clamping member to a backside of the carpet via a slit formed in the carpet. The upper clamping member has an engaging projection formed at an outer surface of a tip end portion thereof and configured to be inserted in an attaching hole formed in the floor mat and a locking portion formed at an inner surface of the tip end portion. The supporting portion has an engaging portion for engaging the engaging portion of the upper clamping member. An upper surface of the guide protrusion is tapered.

    Abstract: An approximately cylindrical housing is coupled to one pipe, and the other pipe having an annular protruding portion on an outer periphery at an end portion is inserted into the housing to be coupled. Inside the housing, are installed a stopper that is held at an initial position in close proximity to an opening portion of the housing and moves to a push-in position away from the opening portion of the housing when the other pipe is fully introduced inside, and a retainer having a locking piece that is inserted through an opening portion, formed in a top wall of the housing, in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the housing and engages with the annular protruding portion of the other pipe while the end portion of the other pipe is fully inserted. The retainer cannot be inserted unless the stopper moves to the push-in position.

    Abstract: A pipe connector for connecting a first pipe and a second pipe includes a socket attached to an end of the first pipe and a plug attached to an end of the second pipe, wherein the plug is inserted into the socket. An inner periphery of the socket is provided with a seal ring for sealing an interval between the inner periphery of the socket and an outer periphery of the plug in an airtight manner and a hold ring for restricting movement of the seal ring in an axial direction. The hold ring includes a groove in a ring-like shape for constituting a burr storing space at an outer periphery thereof and is welded to the inner periphery of the socket by ultrasonic welding.

    Abstract: A joint for fuel tank is attached to an opening of a resin fuel tank. The joint includes a joint main body and a flanged junction. The flanged junction is connected to the joint main body and is weldable to a periphery of the opening of the fuel tank. The joint main body includes a semi-aromatic polyamide obtained by polymerization of source monomers containing an aromatic monomer component and an aliphatic monomer component. The junction includes a modified polyolefin having: a density in a range of 0.930 to 0.950; and a melt flow rate as measured in accordance with JIS-K7210 in a range of 0.06 to 3.0 g/10 minutes.
