Abstract: The present invention is directed to providing a vehicle module clip in which an angle formed between a pair of elastic arms, which perform a hooking operation while fitted to pass through a coupling hole and returning to an original state, is reduced to allow the elastic arms to be coupled to the coupling hole using a small force when the elastic arms pass through the coupling hole to perform the hooking operation and, when the module clip is separated from the coupling hole in a state in which the hooking operation is performed, lengths of the elastic arms decrease so that a greater force is required for allowing the elastic arms to be forcibly deformed and separated from the coupling hole so as not to easily separate the elastic arms from the coupling hole.

Abstract: Groove formation portions that define insertion grooves are located in two opposing inner sides of an opening of a main cover. Engagement shafts are located on side portions of the sub-cover that oppose the inner sides. The engagement shafts are insertable into the insertion grooves from an outside and have a thickness that is larger than a groove width of the insertion grooves. The groove formation portions are elastic and deformable to allow insertion of the engagement shafts when the engagement shafts are inserted from the outside. The groove formation portions elastically return to their original forms after insertion of the engagement shafts to engage the engagement shafts and restrict separation of the engagement shafts in a reverse direction. The groove formation portions support the sub-cover to allow the sub-cover to open while engaged with the engagement shafts.

Abstract: A trim cap with a tether. The trim cap includes a cap with a tether. The tether has a distal end with a living hinge and a J-shaped hook extending from the living hinge. An assist grip with an attachment section having a tether aperture is also included. The J-shaped hook and the living hinge allow for the J-shaped hook to lay directly against the tether in an install position such that the distal end and J-shaped hook can pass through the tether aperture of the attachment section. The J-shaped hook and the living hinge spring into a release position after the J-shaped hook has passed through the tether aperture. Also, the J-shaped hook is spaced apart from the tether and cannot pass back through the tether aperture. In this manner the trim cap is tethered to the level one part during installation of the component.
