摘要： A windmill having a plurality of radially extending blades, each being an aerodynamic-shaped airfoil having a cross-section which is essentially an inverted pan-shape with an intermediate section, a leading edge into the wind, and a trailing edge which has a flange doubled back toward the leading edge and an end cap. The blade is of substantial uniform thickness. An air compressor and generator are driven by the windmill. The compressor is connected to a storage tank which is connected to the intake of a second compressor.

摘要： A windmill driven pump having rotatable windmill vanes attached to a turning shaft. A disk is eccentrically mounted on the shaft so that both the disk and shaft rotate along with the vanes. Bearings selectively cooperate with the disk to transfer the rotational movement of the disk to a reciprocally movable beam. A pulley system transfers the movement of the beam to a sucker rod for a pump. A locking device is also provided which can prevent the bearings from cooperating with the disk and thus disengage the pump from the rotation of the windmill.

摘要： A method and apparatus for storing excess electricity generated during off-peak periods. The electricity is used to run compressors which compress the air in a plurality of stages. The air is cooled after each stage to remove the heat of enthalpy. The air is stored in bags on the bottom of the sea. To recover the energy, the compressed air is run through turbines and the heat removed during compression is reintroduced.

The tower is rotatably supported by a foot bearing at its base and a second bearing positioned below a horizontal stud which supports a pair of rotor units. The second bearing is supported by guy wires and the rotor units can pivot about the stud axis. The wind machine is used to drive a pump and a plurality of wind machines can drive pumps in series or in parallel.
