Abstract: A temperature sensor circuit is disclosed that uses multiple bipolar devices to generate a proportional to absolute temperature (PTAT) current and a complementary to absolute temperature (CTAT) current. A difference in the PTAT and CTAT current is evaluated using a feedback loop of an amplifier circuit which alternatively charges and discharges a capacitor to create a time-varying analog signal. A comparator circuit compares the analog signal to threshold values to generate an output digital signal whose duty cycle varies with temperature.

Abstract: A head-mounted device includes a flexible cable that electrically connects a fixed component to a movable component. The flexible cable includes a conductive shield layer that inhibits electrical interference with signals transmitted along the flexible cable. A grounding member provides a low impedance path from the shield layer to a conductive frame of the head-mounted device to reduce the likelihood and/or severity of electrostatic discharge events and/or electrostatic coupling that may affect the head-mounted device.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and circuitries are provided for performing adaptive cell searching. In one example, a method for a user equipment (UE) includes determining that the UE has entered an out of coverage (OOC) status and, in response, configuring a cell search pattern that defines a series of scheduled search instances for each of one or more frequency sets. A timing of the series of scheduled search instances is based on a time at which the UE entered OOC status and the cell search pattern is configured to cause performance of a respective minimum search rate of respective frequency sets. The frequency sets are searched based on the configured cell search pattern.

Abstract: Techniques are described for multi-layer interference detection. The method can include transmitting data to a system using a connection on a wireless network, the system configured to provide access to a functionality of a device. The method can further include accessing at least one of link quality monitoring (LQM) information from a medium access control layer of the user device or transmission control protocol (TCP) information from a transport layer of the device during a presentation of data by the system. The method can further include determining that the wireless network is experiencing interference based at least in part on the LQM information or TCP information. The method can further include generating interference information based at least in part on determining that the wireless network is experiencing the interference. The method can further include transmitting the interference information to the system during the presentation of data by the system.

Abstract: An electronic device may use information about the location of nearby devices to make sharing with those devices more intuitive for a user. When two devices are pointed towards one another, each device may automatically present the option to share information with the other device. When a user wishes to share information with one or more devices in a group of users, an array of icons representing the nearby users may be positioned on the display according to the locations of the nearby users so that the sharing user can easily select which user he or she wishes to share with. A sharing user may broadcast a signal and nearby users may elect to receive the signal by pointing their devices towards the sharing user. A user of two devices may share information between the two devices and may use one device to manipulate the information on the other device.

Additionally, the video encoding system is configured to encode the image data based on the prediction mode.

Abstract: An electronic device includes memory and motion compensated temporal filtering (MCTF) circuitry communicatively coupled to the memory. The MCTF circuitry is configured to receive a plurality of motion vectors. The MCTF circuitry is also configured to retrieve a plurality of source pixel values and a plurality of reference pixel values from the memory. The plurality of source pixel values and the plurality of reference pixel values correspond to the plurality of motion vectors. The MCTF circuitry is further configured to determine motion vector edge statistics based on the plurality of motion vectors. The MCTF circuitry is further configured to generate a plurality of filtered pixel values by filtering the plurality of source pixel values based on the plurality of reference pixel values and the motion vector edge statistics.
