Abstract: An electronic device with one or more processors and memory is in communication with a display. The device, while in a first playback navigation mode, provides, to the display, video information for display; and receives an input that corresponds to a request by a user to switch to a second playback navigation mode. The video information includes information that corresponds to one or more frames of a video, a scrubber bar that represents a timeline of the video, a first playhead that indicates a current play position in the scrubber bar, and playback position markers, distinct from the first playhead, that indicate predetermined playback positions in the video. The device, in response to receiving the input, transitions from the first playback navigation mode to the second playback navigation mode; and, while in the second playback navigation mode, ceases to provide information that corresponds to the playback position markers.

Abstract: An electronic device with a display showing a user interface (UI) in different orientations relative to the display. In landscape orientation the user interface includes a dock region displayed along the right or left edge of the user interface. Application icons or other UI objects that are arranged in a row on the dock region in portrait orientation are arranged in a column on the dock region in the landscape orientation. UI objects and folders from other pages move from underneath the dock region onto the user interface. Furthermore, notification and control windows are overlay on top of portions of the dock region in landscape orientation of the user interface.

Abstract: An electronic device presents a user interface including an output property that represents a first type of output. The device detects a first input associated with modifying the first type of output via a first behavior model, and changes the output property over time based on the first behavior model and updates the user interface based on the changes in the output property. While updating the user interface, the device detects a change to the user input; and changes the output property over time based on a second behavior model based on: a value of the output property determined based on the first behavior model; and a first derivative of the value of the output property with respect to time determined based on the first behavior model. The device updates the user interface based on the changes in the output property that occur based on the second behavior model.

Abstract: An electronic device provides, to a display, while in a screensaver mode, data to present a first media, that includes a first visual motion effect. Abstract: In response to a first press input, a device displays a control corresponding to a control function with a first size and with a value indicator representing that a current value of the control function. After displaying the control with the first size and the value indicator, if a subsequent press input has not been detected within a threshold time, the device ceases to display the control; and if a second press input is detected on the same input region within the threshold time: the device adjusts the current value of the control function in accordance with the second press input; the device adjusts a size of the first control from the first size to a second size; and the device changes an appearance of the value indicator to represent that the current value of the control function is the second value.
