Abstract:
A method for secure distribution of data in an interchange network, comprises having a network in which data records stored on at least one computer; and including an authorization service, where the authorization service grants a contractor access to at least a portion of the data records; and a watermarking module that adds one or more artificial records to said portion. The artificial records cannot be distinguished from the data records by the contractor and are valid for processing in the same way as the data records.
Abstract:
Various embodiments herein each include at least one of systems, methods, software, and devices, such as product scanners e.g., barcode scanners) enabled to detect item substitution fraud during a checkout process at facilities, such as retail outlets. One method embodiment that may be performed in part on a product scanner, includes detecting, on a point-of-sale (POS) terminal, an event occurrence associated with at least one validation process. The method may then receive an image from each of at least one camera of a plurality of cameras of the product scanner. The method further includes processing at least one of the received images according to the at least one validation process to obtain a result and providing the result to the POS terminal.
Abstract:
A novel hybrid lithium-ion anode material based on coaxially coated Si shells on carbon nanofibers (CNF). The unique cup-stacking graphitic microstructure makes the CNFs an effective Li+ intercalation medium. Highly reversible Li+ intercalation and extraction were observed at high power rates. More importantly, the highly conductive and mechanically stable CNF core optionally supports a coaxially coated amorphous Si shell which has much higher theoretical specific capacity by forming fully lithiated alloy. Addition of surface effect dominant sites in close proximity to the intercalation medium results in a hybrid device that includes advantages of both batteries and capacitors.
Abstract:
A portable mop comprises a mop rod (1). The mop rod (1) is provided with a steering mechanism (5). The steering mechanism (5) comprises a sleeve nut (6), a locking thread sleeve (7) and a hinged ladder rotating shaft (8). A hinge plane (10) is arranged at the upper end of the hinged ladder rotating shaft (8); and the hinge plane (10) of the hinged ladder rotating shaft (8) is inserted with a hinge connecting lug (11) at the lower end of the mop rod (1) through a pin shaft to constitute a hinge mechanism (29) of the mop rod (1). In a mop bucket used with the portably mop, an integrated squeezing and brushing device is formed by the connection of the squeezing roller pair and the brush body by virtue of a combined support; the combined support comprises a left and a right side baffles; and the brush body is fixedly connected with the squeezing roller pair through connecting screw rods to form a whole. The portable mop achieves the purpose of wiping the hidden corners by turning, and mop heads with narrow and wide working surfaces can also be rapidly replaced. The squeezing rollers and the brush body can be rearranged; the working space of the mop bucket can be increased for the convenience of washing; and meanwhile, the functions of wiping while adding water and shoveling hard lumps can also be achieved.
Abstract:
A method for distributing a multimedia content to at least two rendering devices, wherein said multimedia content comprises at least two elementary contents, the method comprises the steps of receiving first information including information indicating for each of said at least two elementary contents a destination rendering device and a starting time; for each rendering device associated with said multimedia content, sending corresponding information indicating starting time for at least one elementary content destined to the rendering device; receiving said multimedia content; and sending said at least two elementary contents of said multimedia content to their corresponding destination rendering devices based on information indicating destination rendering device for each of said at least two elementary contents.
Abstract:
The disclosure provides a quick positioning method and device for multiple cycles and multiple users, and the method includes: a processing index is created for each attribute of a user in a base station, wherein same attributes with the same transmission cycles and the same transmission offsets share one processing index; when a user accesses the base station, the user is mounted into a corresponding processing index according to an attribute of the user, a transmission cycle of the attribute, and a transmission offset of the attribute; and by inquiring a processing index corresponding to the current time point, the base station demodulates the attribute of the user mounted in said processing index. With the disclosure, a target can be hit promptly, processing time is saved, processing efficiency is improved, and the processing time delay of the whole link is reduced.
Abstract:
An optical code scanner is presented that includes image capture technology to read optical codes. The optical code scanner captures an image of an optical code and then generates multiple reduced resolution versions of the image. Multiple techniques are applied to the different images to identify a region of interest, enhance the contrast of the image, perform a non-linear local geometrical distortion correction and minimize the spatial resolution required to read the optical code. The techniques reduce the raw processing power and time required to identify and read an optical code.
Abstract:
A method used in a service providing device for delivering interactive multimedia content to a plurality of client devices, comprising: receiving a request for the interactive multimedia content, from at least one of the plurality of client devices; disabling the plurality of client devices from sending the request to the service providing device, according to a predetermined condition; and delivering the interactive multimedia content to the plurality of client devices.
Abstract:
Described herein are solid solution composites that are used as cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries. The solid solution composite of α LiMVO4-βLiNi1-x-yCoxMnyO2 in which LiMVO4 has cubic close-packed structure, LiNi1-x-yCoxMnyO2 has hexagonal layered structure, and both share an oxygen lattice fully or partly. The new solid solution materials have advantage for lithium-ion batteries that the working voltage of the composite is adjustable by controlling the molar ratio of α and β and have higher working voltage than current secondary battery materials. Also described herein are methods of preparing such composite.
