Abstract:
Provided is an integrated system having a medium printed with a dot pattern, a scanner remote controller that reads the dot pattern, a cradle, a mobile telephone, and audio-visual equipment. The cradle for the mobile phone of the invention is to be used with a scanner remote controller that reads a printed dot pattern, in which information is recorded, and transmits the information. The mobile phone cradle comprises: being capable of having a mobile phone placed thereon and holding the mobile phone and communicating with the placed mobile phone; receiving data from the scanner remote controller to cause the scanner remote controller to function as input means for the mobile phone; and communicating with audio-visual equipment and controlling the audio-visual equipment to cause the audio-visual equipment to function as output means for the mobile phone.
Abstract:
According to one embodiment, an information reproduction apparatus includes a calculator, selector, and decoder. The calculator calculates parity-check passing ratios based on a check matrix of an LDPC code for code word candidates included in a reproduced signal. The selector selects one of the code word candidates based on the parity-check passing ratios calculated by the calculator. The decoder decodes the code word candidate selected by the selector by an iterative decoding process.
Abstract:
Moiré generated in an autostereoscopic display utilizing a parallax barrier method is cancelled. The interval between visible light transmitting sections that are abutting in the horizontal direction of a parallax barrier is determined using: the average number of subpixels constituting one pixel for three-dimensional display in one row in the horizontal direction; the width of a subpixel, which forms a display; the distance from a predetermined diagonal moiré canceling position to the parallax barrier; the number of viewpoints of a video image used for displaying an autostereoscopic video image; and the distance (Z) from the image display surface of the display to the parallax barrier.
Abstract:
The present invention is to provide an imaging apparatus superior in operability and visibility at the time of setting and adjusting functions thereof. The apparatus includes GUI screen image generating means for generating a GUI screen image for operating the imaging apparatus to display the GUI screen image on image display means; operating means for operating the GUI screen image displayed on the image display means; controlling means for controlling the imaging apparatus in accordance with the operation of the GUI screen image by the operating means; storing means for storing hierarchy type main menu information; menu generating means; and menu editing means capable of editing the unique menu information generated by the menu generating means. The controlling means controls the GUI screen image generating means when detecting a predetermined operation by the operating means, and the GUI screen image generating means generates the GUI screen image in which the index information to operate the menu editing means is included in the unique menu information, in accordance with the control by the controlling means, and displays the GUI screen image on the image display means.
Abstract:
Continuous output of content data is aimed in output of content data using a dot pattern. In the information processing method of the invention, by storing a content data file that stores content data or a dot code signified by a dot pattern and also has a function as instruction information that indicates other content data to be continuously output after outputting the desired content data, the content data can be continuously output.
Abstract:
A stream dot technique forming a dot pattern at an arbitrary position on a curved surface body or a medium surface by including the step of linearly and consecutively arranging a plurality of reference dots according to a predetermined rule, providing a first virtual reference line which connects the plurality of reference dots, providing a second virtual reference line which is defined at a predetermined position from the reference dot and/or the first virtual reference line, providing a plurality of virtual reference points at predetermined positions on the second virtual reference line, and placing an information dot whose information is defined by a distance and a direction from the virtual reference point at an end point expressed by a vector with the virtual reference point being a start point.
Abstract:
An objective of the present invention is to facilitate the acquisition of antibody-producing cells that are infiltrating virus-infected cells, cancer cells, abnormal cells forming a benign hyperplasia, and the like, and to improve the efficiency of the production of antibodies as well as nucleic acids encoding them from the antibody-producing cells. The present inventors discovered that, when cancer tissues comprising infiltrating lymphocytes are transplanted into highly immunodeficient animals that do not have T cells, B cells, and NK cells and further exhibit a low IFN production ability, the differentiation and proliferation of infiltrating lymphocytes are unexpectedly promoted, and the number of plasma cells that produce antibodies recognizing cancer tissues increases dramatically, plasma cells can be separated easily, and antibodies or nucleic acids encoding them can be easily prepared from the plasma cells.
Abstract:
According to one embodiment, a disk storage apparatus includes a write module, an operation module, and a controller. The write module is configured to write data, in units of blocks, in a designated write area of a disk. The operation module is configured to perform an exclusive OR operation on the blocks of data. The controller is configured to control the write module, causing the write module to write, in a designated block, recovery data that is a result of the exclusive OR operation on all data blocks written in the designated write area.
Abstract:
A data process can be performed without lowering the data processing efficiency even when the sector length of the host device side is different from the sector length of the hard disk side. Partial data or whole data of a second data block which is based on a long sector defined on the hard disk side and surrounds the starting end and terminating end addresses of a first data block based on a host-defined sector is read from the hard disk and written to a flash memory before the data process using the flash memory as a cache is performed based on the command.
Abstract:
