    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) or a base station may communicate a set of reference signals on a set of interference measurement resources. The set of interference measurements may be based on a first activation schedule of one or more reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RISs). The UE or the base station may generate interference measurement information associated with the one or more RISs based on the set of reference signals. The base station may determine a second activation schedule of the one or more RISs or an allocation of resources for communicating with the UE based on the set of interference measurements. The base station may communicate with the UE based on the second activation schedule or the allocation of resources.

A base station may transmit a request for a first user equipment (UE) to provide sensing capability information associated with UEs other than the first UE (e.g., an indication of one or more sensors associated with the corresponding UE, an orientation of the corresponding UE, a field of view associated with the corresponding UE). Additionally, the first UE may receive, from each of a set of second UEs, indications of the sensing capability information associated with the corresponding second UEs. Based on the sensing capability information indicated for each of the set of second UEs, the first UE select a subset of second UEs and transmit an indication of the sensing capability information associated with the subset of second UEs to the base station.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A first user equipment (UE) may monitor various sensors to obtain data associated with a user of the first UE, and may determine that the user is in a vulnerable state based on monitoring these sensors. The vulnerable state of the user may include an inebriated state, a distracted state, an impaired state, or a disabled state, among other examples. After detecting the vulnerable state of the user, the first UE may transmit a public safety message (PSM) to other devices in the area. Upon receiving the PSM from the UE, a network entity may use positioning information to identify other UEs within a threshold distance of the first UE, and may transmit an alert message to these UEs. The techniques described herein may reduce the probability of nearby pedestrians or vehicles colliding with the user.

    Abstract: Aspects relate to techniques for enabling a UE to detect a potential mistrusted UE that may be sharing inaccurate sidelink assistance information with other UEs. In an aspect, a first UE may receive a plurality of sidelink assistance information from other UEs. The first UE can further identify an amount of the plurality of sidelink resources for which a second UE provides respective inconsistent sidelink assistance information with respect to other UEs. In response to the amount exceeding a mistrust detection threshold, the first UE can transmit a report indicating that the second UE is a potential mistrusted UE to a centralized node. Based on the received reports associated with the second UE, the centralized node can transmit a mistrust indication indicating that the second UE is an actual mistrusted UE with respect to subsequent sidelink assistance information associated with the second UE.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A vehicle user equipment (VUE) may transmit an iterative wake-up signal (WUS) to a first roadside unit (RSU). The iterative WUS may include location information associated with an expected path of the VUE and may instruct the first RSU to transmit one or more other WUSs to at least a second RSU that supports communication along a portion of the expected path of the VUE. In some cases, the first RSU may transmit an iterative WUS to the second RSU, the second RSU may transmit an iterative WUS to a third RSU, and so on until the final RSU along the expected path is woken up with a normative (e.g., non-iterative) WUS. An RSU may provide safety information to the VUE, and after the VUE leaves a service area associated with an RSU, the RSU may activate a low power mode.
