In a cold stocker according to the present invention, a compartment-cooling heat exchanger is connected to a cold-side heat exchanger mounted to a cold section of a Stirling refrigerating engine so as to form a cold-side refrigerant circulation circuit. To a warm section of the Stirling refrigerating engine, a first warm-side heat exchanger and a second warm-side heat exchanger are mounted. A heat-dissipating heat exchanger is connected to the first warm-side heat exchanger so as to form a first warm-side refrigerant circulation circuit. To the second warm-side heat exchanger are connected a heat exchange portion for promoting evaporation in drainage and a heat exchange portion for preventing dew condensation on a cold stocker wall so as to form a second warm-side refrigerant circulation circuit.

The present invention provides a catalyst component for ethylene polymerization, a process for preparing the same, a catalyst comprising the same, and a process for polymerizing ethylene using the catalyst. The catalyst component comprises a reaction product, supported on an inorganic oxide support, of a magnesium complex, a titanium compound, an alcohol compound, and an organoaluminum compound, wherein said magnesium complex is formed by dissolving a magnesium halide in a solvent system comprising an organic epoxy compound and an organo phosphorus compound. The catalyst according to the invention is especially suitable for slurry phase polymerization of ethylene. The catalyst according to the present invention has high catalytic activity, and a good hydrogen response, with the resultant polymer having a more uniform particle size diameter and a narrow particle size distribution.

The present disclosure introduces a simple method and apparatus for converting DC power to AC power, and, specifically, to single-ended inverter circuits for driving discharge lamps such as a Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp (CCFL) or an External Electrode Fluorescent Lamp (EEFL). Among other advantages, these circuits offer nearly symmetrical voltage waveform to drive discharge lamps when the duty cycle is close to 50%. They also eliminate the high current and high voltage resonant capacitor on the primary side, and reduce the voltage rating of a primary switch to twice the input voltage without the need for snubber circuits. The recommended inverters can be used to efficiently drive discharge lamps at low cost, particularly for applications with a narrow input voltage range. The lamp current can be regulated through the duty cycle modulation of the main switch.

Apparatus and method for MRI imaging using a coil constructed of microstrip transmission line (MTL coil) are disclosed. In one method, a target is positioned to be imaged within the field of a main magnetic field of a magnet resonance imaging (MRI) system, a MTL coil is positioned proximate the target, and a MRI image is obtained using the main magnet and the MTL coil. In another embodiment, the MRI coil is used for spectroscopy. MRI imaging and spectroscopy coils are formed using microstrip transmission line. These MTL coils have the advantageous property of good performance while occupying a relatively small space, thus allowing MTL coils to be used inside restricted areas more easily than some other prior art coils. In addition, the MTL coils are relatively simple to construct of inexpensive components and thus relatively inexpensive compared to other designs. Further, the MTL coils of the present invention can be readily formed in a wide variety of coil configurations, and used in a wide variety of ways. Further, while the MTL coils of the present invention work well at high field strengths and frequencies, they also work at low frequencies and in low field strengths as well.
